Delusional. Putting people on Mars is far past what our present technology would allow. Extended weightless period, radiation over at least two years, poisonous "soil" and other issues means that the people that go just die.

Tesla is losing stock by his actions at Twitter which is seeing investors want him to either focus on Tesla or cut Twitter loose and or find a CEO/COO and let them run Twitter. Outside of SpaceX and Tesla none of his other investments are close to being a stable revenue stream. He has made similar statements about brain chips. His family money helped him to a hostile takeover of Tesla which he repeated with Twitter. He almost ran Tesla into the ground but a bailout under Obama saved his azz. He almost did to Tesla what he's done to Twitter but with Twitter he gutted the company so fast its all but sealed its fate. Tesla saw a revolt from those that actually did the work and he caved. He's ego and overpaying for Twitter made him scramble to get his money back fast out of a panic which led to the horrible choice of mass layoffs that led to companies ending or greatly reduced their ad spending. SpaceX and others do better because he gets the fck out of the way of the engineers programmers leadership etc making them successful. No clue what hes doing at Twitter which mirrors Tesla but where Tesla got lucky to get a second and third chance the same will not happen for Twitter.
