Actually, you can meet Ruan Mei in Simulated Universe normally! It’s just extremely rare and very powerful as you can choose what it does. It can either give you all blessings of a random path or 2000 fragments but if you have Ruan Mei in your party, you get both rewards!
I’ve seen her occurrence three times before, but in Swarm and Gold and Gears, there is a second Ruan Mei event that can happen too

From my understanding, I read Ruan Mei as someone not cold-hearted, but a person who was lost and hurt; her backstory shows that she had a happy childhood and was loved by people around her, but then her parents were passed away and her granny was also taken? She promised to protect them all but "failed"; she took their passing upon heself, and perhaps that's when her emotions are sealed away and don't want to be emotionally attached to anyone or anything, she is now single-mindedly focusing on finding the truth of life, the essence of the universe and everything, so that perhaps, to my understanding, she could bring back her lost ones? or even give future lifes a better defined meaning so they don't need to go through this suffering or perplexed phase. She is a very interesting character with a lot of deep layers that are not directly told in the storyline; some are hinted but if you don't intentionally look for it, then it's easily missed. I'm also very excited for how they would write her in the future story, perhaps one day she does become an Aeon, and by then, would she replace the current paths such as Yaoshi the Abundance? or would she revive the older paths such as Long the Permanance? or maybe she elevates them all and branch into an entirely new path? We'll have to see.
Just saying, but this is only half the quest. There is a part 2 to that TB quest that is different from the event one.

If she had been just a tad bit more direct as the quest progressed, I would have cared about her story more as I was before the quest. Now I like the irony of her [lack of] understanding of life and love, but feel very neutral and indifferent towards her character itself…until next appearance maybe. (I do have an official badge of her LC tho, it's so pretty XD)

The crying creation's voice is different for both Trailblazers. The crying creation's voice while playing as Stelle, is a female voice and her crying is so heartbreaking to listen to. Makes me want to scoop that gelatinous cuteness into my arms and cuddle it to oblivion and comfort it. 🥹❤️
