He roasted some priests in the fire to show others, especially the 3 Hebrew boys to better obey, or else, they would suffer the same fate Jeremiah 29:22. They stood their ground, knowing in whom they had believed and were delivered, by their unwavering faith in the Living God. 2 King 22:35-39; 6:5-24, 25-28. Just like it would happen during the rapture, Believers will only be changed at the very moment they're taken up, as they remain steadfast in their faith, against the fear they see, in a twinkling of the eye! Their physical flesh was glorified, and nothing on earth could hurt them, as they were faced with power of fire and the lions. All creation was commanded to bow to the power of Jesus Christ, for God has given Him a name above all names. Isaiah 43:2-4; Philippians 2:9. These decrees are a witness to everyone all over the world, because these decrees form the foundation for every religions worldwide. God showed him the power of His Jealousy- Nebuchadnezzar had ascribed God's power to get and give power to get wealth to his own power, and he was immediately cut down to size. He couldn't help himself from losing his mind, but had wanted to make himself equal to the God of heaven, the Creator of everything he had acquired Daniel 4:1-3, and arrogated all power to himself Ecclesiastes 5:19; Deuteronomy 8:18; James 1:17. He paid the price for his pride against the God of heaven 4:4-37 (Thus shall it be unto everyone like him, who forget that all they have and all they do is because God permitted them and gave them life). Nebuchadnezzar became a believer in God, by his numerous encounter and experiences with the God of the Hebrew boys. He abdicated his throne, because there was nothing about him dying. This God gave him an everlasting life, just because he believed! His grandson ascended the throne, but wouldn't learn from his experience, so he learned the hard way 5:10-21. He refused to humble his heart, unlike Nebuchadnezzar, and he got instant judgment verses 22-31. God honored king Darius for his faith, for through him and Cyrus and Artaxerxes, the decree for Israel to return to the promised land was given and enforced. God is still dealing with kings, presidents, prime minsters, chiefs; heads of states etc. the same way. They will be rewarded with honor, or be condemned to destruction. Everyone gets to make a decision. God shows His ways and will through all these stories in the Bible. When the book is opened at the end of days, everyone's name would either be found in it because they decided to obey and believe, or others who don't, will get what's coming to them. God will be Righteous and Just when He judges, and every mouth will be stopped, no excuses, no reasons! Psalm 7:11-12; 51:4; Romans 3:19. There's still time, as long as Jesus Christ tarries. Even Ahab and Manasseh cried to God and He answered them, despite all the atrocities they were committing. Unfortunately, they still didn't believe Him and had a sad ending. Even Josiah, who did so much good, ended very badly because he didn't abide in faith, but went and became a meddler in other people's affairs. 1 Kings 21:27; 2 Chronicles 33:3; 35:22. 1 Peter 4:15. He still listens, but without faith no man can please God Hebrews 11:6, and is looking for those who will simply worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. John 4:24. Search the scriptures to get to know Him, and just simply have a child-like faith. The 3 Hebrew boys and Daniel, simply believed, and they were not ashamed. The scriptures didn't disclose their death, because whosoever believes in Him, shall not die, though he they die, they shall live. John 11-25-26.
