  1. I love those Rover 45s, extremely underrated car. Very much overshadowed by the ZS, but they have that same sharp chassis ans in my experience are extremely reliable.

Definitely throwing my name into that hat for that one, I'd like another. Never had a poverty model like that one though!

  2. Rover 45 in copperleaf metallic. Nice car. My late father worked for Austin Rover when that was made. Just needs a little tlc from a trimmer. The daft thing is I can drive that through Birmingham no charge and yet a euro 5 diesel jaguar costs ยฃ8 per day. Similarly I could drive a big v8 through there no problems at all. How does that make any sense?

  3. Hi Geoff, if you are breaking the brown V70 can I possibly buy the tailgate off you as mine needs a new tailgate. Also possibly lights if you want to sell them? I can come and collect them from you.

  4. Have a great holiday Geoff. Sorry to hear about the deer collision. A mate of mine hit one in his van many years ago – smashed the windscreen, bent the A-pillar and pulled the roof down as a result. It was Deer 1 – Van 0 though. It unbelievably got up and ran off ๐Ÿ˜ง๐ŸฆŒ

  6. I understand that the price of petrol in the UK is foolish but 1 litre engine in a car that size is nuts my son has a 2016 Ford Fusion 2 litre twin turbo with all wheel drive that is stupid fast but itโ€™s such a comfortable ride but we pay $ 2.79 a US Gallon of fuel. The government in the UK either wants you to walk ,stay home or take public transportation non of them sound appealing to me.
