This one should have come to a end at about 1.5hrs. But it just keeps going and going at 1.75hrs I'm calling the ball and moving on.
So was it to destroy an annoying enemy as they first said or protect the weak?

Started pretty good, ended as an absolute politically charged vomit. I turned to Sci-fi cuz the real world is aids, every one has 72 motives and no one is simply good or bad, i miss the 90s sci-fi shows, with good guys and bad guys. The real world is enough brain aids, we don't need to bring it in to sci-if.
Yes it seems to be turning political, maybe equating the "human supremacy" into a lesson instead of a pure story. Perhaps a little AI writing here with it's own political bias. Mmmmm mental conditioning..?

Honestly think humanity would actively advance faster than we EVER have if we were contacted by aliens but that contact was an active request to be saved…I think that would almost unanimously unite humanity…the fact that an advanced race would even ask for help would set us on a course that wouldn't be possible otherwise…if we are asked for help it's human nature to want to do so(atleast how I see things)…also…as a stellaris player..hearing those weapons as standard loadouts….is absolutely terrifyingly badass.
