For centuries, the galactic council has kept the peace between a fragile alliance of star-faring races. The Karkourm, a brutal warrior race, see weakness in the council’s resolve and ignite a galactic war with a single act of genocide. Their goal is simple: eliminate all opposition and rule the galaxy. Just as hope seems lost, a reclusive species, known as Humans, reluctantly step from the shadows. This seemingly average race possesses an uncanny ability to turn the tide of war with their unexpected tactics and ruthless efficiency in combat.

  1. Not trying to be rude or anything but I much prefer the videos without the facecam. Not talking about the beginning, talking about throughout the whole video.

Great job reading this btw, a lot better than the lifeless AI voices.

  2. Humans are like a unsolvable puzzle as soon as you understand one aspect there hundreds maybe thousands or even Millions more puzzles to solve and each one more complex then the last some that seems essentially is a cake walk to just crash your hopes and dreams on the last peace

  3. While this is a sci-fi fiction story, it makes an excellent point, one we should all remember. That freedom is not free. It must be defended, constantly. Peace is all very nice, but if it leaves you unable or unwilling to defend your people and way of life, then you are doomed. This story features alien races that have lived in peace so long that they have forgotten how to fight back against predators. Nature is not kind. If you are not strong enough to survive, to defeat those who attack you, you will die. And everyone who depends on you will die as well.
If your "principals" do not survive, then what good are they?

  5. War is hell. One of the greatest quotes I've ever heard on the subject is from General George S Patton: "War isn't about dying for your country. It's about making some other poor sonovabitch die for his!"
Plus, my favorite, "War… War never changes."
