Sally Rand was on what a show added me she saw a opportunity and ran with it. Sadly Sally cow lived 20 more years after faith took her life. The woman Faith was living with didn't even stick around. Her mom never showed back up. Fact Faith was young and Beautiful men fell in love with her. They was all chasing after her. What did mommy dearest do, tell the men her daughter was gay so they would leave her alone. Mommy should of minded her own business. Mommy lied about her daughter age. Once Faith made it mommy took the mommy. No wonder Faith was Depressed. She knew what her mom was doing. I have no doubt mommy dearest got her hooked on pills and booze. No wonder Faith wised up came back to the states. Truth is without Faith there would not of been no Burlesque Dancers. Sad she fell through that Drum, injured herself badly. That Sally Rand just took all the credit. Lying jealous hypocrite. Faith just sink into deep depression. Could not find work, somebody else claiming they the Queen of Fan Dance. Imagine being told you are too old. You can't dance anymore. She even tried to open a dance studio, it failed, meanwhile the Jezebel Sally career took off she's famous. That had to hurt, like pouring salt in a open wound. Having to beg for money. She had no one. The woman she was living with on her case. I can see Faith at the end of her rope. It was said Faith and her lady friend had been arguing all day. So Faith probably said F this I'm done I can't take it no more, I got this now bow all on my case, all we do is argue. Enough. So she Rained out the door, saw a open window. Probably said I give up. It's said the friend grabbed her skirt to prevent her from jumping out the window. Fact when you are depressed, you get stronger. So she jerked away and jumped. No maybe I'm wrong that's not how you treat your lover, girlfriend.Faith lost everything. Was Faith and that lady lovers, I don't know. But I have sisters, I have a twin I know it's not easy living with another female. Family, much less a friend or Lover. I read that friend paid 5 dollars for a cheap box. Then hauled tail out of there, didn't bother to confirm or deny anything. Thankfully a group stepped up laid Faith to rest. Question was where was Mommy Dearest.😖🤬. The fake husband. Sad in the End nobody cared. That Sally Rand Cow, could of contributed.my twin was right, there's always a jealous Jezebel somewhere.👍👏👏👏. What a sad story, I’ve never heard of Faith Bacon before and I’m glad you’re sharing her story. It’s the kind of story that should serve as a cautionary tale. From the most beautiful fan dancer in the world to working at carnivals and seedy strip clubs to a heroin addicted bag lady. Truly heartbreaking. I don’t understand why they would have her stand on a glass drum and why she would settle for only $5K. She spent that money on a 10 carrot diamond ring which she probably ended up selling for drugs. What a fall from grace for her to have to deal from one extreme to the next. I guess just before she jumped she had a big argument with her roommate, so maybe it was just a hasty decision made in the heat of the moment. Regardless, dying by suicide at 46 in such a slow dramatic way is truly sad. I watched videos of her dancing with the ostrich feather fans and she was so classy, graceful and very pretty, which makes it even more tragic. What a beautiful woman-I think she had a bad lawyer. To settle was ridiculous even in this age. There is more we do not know. I tend to think about threats and bodily harm. Why walk away from a suit that was substantial. She had every piece of her body to prove her injuries. I am inclined to maybe the lawyer was initially on the other side and was hired to represent her. That often happened with money moguls. Interesting aspect with money grubbing individuals who do not care about anything but themselves.
