Although I do sometimes get a hand from BSG and occasionally get to talk to Nikita or other members of the team, I do not work for BSG. I also work entirely off public information and past experiences of working in game dev myself, as well as following this game closely for several years. Unless I state very clearly otherwise, the information you’re about to hear should be taken as speculation. You can either get no information or speculation, that’s all we have to go off of these days unfortunately which is why it’s easier to just say Thursday whenever anyone asks for dates. If you want hard facts and dates you won’t get them, period.

  1. That someday will be the day I quit if I don't quit before. There are certain things that shouldn't be in this game and in-game basic traders is one of them. Absolutely horrible idea. Add special in-game traders, sure but the basic 8 ones? no. I don't want to go on woods to find Jaeger to buy stuff just to die by a camping sniper. fk that.

  2. Do we have any idea on what makes airdrops drop? I checked the wiki and couldn’t find anything, I heard it needs 6 pmcs to be alive but no confirmation & it was said on the first day that they were live

  3. I think BSG needs to cool it with making the game as hard as possible to play. players get burnout and are quiting.. getting instant head/eyesed from a scav or gard.. will get old. Also all traders in game will kill the game. No insurance from prapor. .. no game no food and water from Tharapist no game. People will run hatchling all the time to get to a trader… game dead.

  4. i really hope they wont put every trader as an in game npc for this it would make a lot of people quit but, if they are going to put em in, i hope its only for "special" equipment with the choice to keep the stuff that we have right now for em in the main menu like it is now

  5. I don't know if Star Citizen is the perfect game for this type of content, where most of what it is talk, speculation, and promises of the future will bring or if Star Citizen is the worst possible idea that will inevitably lead to 5000 clown streams??

    As long you don't ever take anything on the road map or anything they say as fact, actually happening, or at face value… It's also just very different than Tarkov because there is a huge marketing department wall between the community and devs, along with the constant attempt to sell you stuff which is completely non existent in Tarkov.

  6. When they finally connect maps and everything i wonder how you obtain actual gear and spawn into map.
    It is gonna be random ? Or you would be able to pick spot where to spawn.
    Will you start just with a knife or you get at least some pistol ?
    Are you gonna be able to do some buying on auction and then maybe take it in ?

  7. Perhaps they should focus more on QoL changes first, not always new stuff. I have like 30 fps scoped in on Lighthouse with 3060ti and Ryzen 3600x, like wtf is optimization for them?

  8. New update: bsg is going to stable the game which includes: rework the UI, AI, spawns, economy and servers. We will postpone all new content we will solely focus on the quality of our game. We will dedicate our man power to rework the pressing issues like back end error, raid error and serverside issues. We have hired a economist his job is to balanced the task rewards, scav case, loot table, loot spawns, values. This will make the economy more dynamic and less unballanced for exploit.

    We wil also focus on casual players making it a bit more friendly. We want to make the game accessible not only for streamers or full time players. We care for all our player base.

  9. I dont understand one thing… okay add a random in-game trader who cares but like why the fuckwould you put the normal traders in-game too? Yeah, yeah hardcore game but you should make the game dogshit.

  10. Bad scav karma is rough I killed Santa like 3 times I didn’t know about the bad karma I’ve done everything you can think to get it up but it won’t go it’s -5.6 I basically can’t use my scab at all any advice?

  11. I think its really stupid that you can kill the trader. It should be a room or something where your weapon is holstered like in the hideout, it doesnt really make sense to me. People will just buy the stuff they need and kill him so others cant trade, but then if you kill the trader what stops you from robbing him?
