  1. I really don't get the U of M cheating scandal.
The NCAA nor the B1G have the testicles or teeth to punish in a way that impedes cashflow. So what are we really talking about?
Is the B1G going to punish UM to the point they leave the conference? Are any of the accusing schools going to leave the B1G unless U of M is punished?
Unless this somehow avalanches to the Breakup of the B1G and the ACC were to benefit, I cant see why I care.

  2. I know you both have mentioned the rights of the players to get what they want, but the anti-trust the NFL enjoys allows them to make decisions for the most part, in the best interest of the game and not on behalf of one side or the other. The NCAA powers that be are the epitome of the inmates running the asylum. College football is going from a NFL feeder system to a feeder to the top 20 teams.
And who here actually believe parents are lying to deflect the criticism they have created? Also, I don't think people where booing Armstrong that game but the actual play calling. This decision by MJ makes all those faux pas to not boo players off the table. They are in it for themselves.

  3. I think redshirting can still mean he is our QB. If the plan the whole time was to redshirt MJ, but dave needed him to come in and give a spark to the offense, but long term dave wants mj for another 2 solid years (3 if he ends his college career in Raleigh) and redshirting is the only option to get that.
Basically, Dave used MJ to bolster his squad for a short time like he needed, and is now comfortable in his posistion and season almost regardless of how the seasons ends. But ultimately it achieves having the guy you want for the next 2-3 years still

  4. I love you calling out morris’ family. Shitty advice for a good kid. Ruining his legacy at state and he’ll never be picked up by a competent team. What a joke.

  5. Much like getting used to players opting out of bowl games, we will have to get used to players holding out for more NIL money. It’s inevitable.

…and yes, it’s time for Shipley to come home.
