All of these great sacrifice of Humanity stories fail in the same way. They all have all humans go all in with no regard to their own survival and commit unnecessary mass suicide.
There is no chance that billions of Humans manned thousands of ships and included their elderly, children, etc… It's not like human biomass can be weaponized here, so it is utterly pointless to attack with all of humanity. that was just self genocide for genocide's sake.
Lets assume thousands of ships needing a hundred to a thousand people each to effectively man it… Hell let's say tens of thousands of ships. That is still only hundreds of thousands to millions of humans. Meanwhile it was stated that they had 1 BILLION remain and become refugees and that they restores their people to their pre war levels ( so lets be stingy and put that at 7 billion (Assuming a conflict now). Did billions of men, women, and children strap themselves as ablative armour to the hulls of the ships or something?
Seriously. every one of these stories want us to cry and be proud of suicidal fools. Humanity is not a singular protagonist as a species,. we never were and never could be.
Also… TRILLIONS of missiles? really? Does the Author fathom how much a Trillion is? 1,000,000 is a million. 1,000,000,000 is a billion. 1,000,000,000,000 is a Trillion. It is an inconceivable number of missiles. They would need one million Carriers each carrying one million missiles to have even 1 Trillion Missiles of any type.
Other combinations… 10 million carriers with 100,000 missiles each, or 100 million Carriers with a more realistic 10,000 missiles each.
