  1. This game needs mega bosses that roam the open world (especially in corruption riddled territories). Make them aggro so you either have to run, climb or hide… or get a large group of 20+ to kill them. The bosses need to have several mechanics that randomly change and can one shot you if you don't dodge roll or block properly. They need mechanics that can harm tanks, or even negate healing spells in the area.

  2. Yeah just a big chicken 3 ppl can handle without trouble in a few minutes. Exactly 4 (!) abilities – peck, laser, lay eggs, flop. Some "raid boss"… We cant even make a group of more than 5 people for the already existing content for 50 people so I'm not excited about the prospect of "raid bosses" if this turkey is any indication. They were late for the holiday, it's just luck food, have fun hitting on a turkey for 5 minutes 6 days after it mattered…

  3. AGS put this in as a distraction – so players can be all "oooh and aaaah" over this instead of focusing on how so many aspects of the game are still broken.

This is my personal opinion – Turkulon is 100% here to take the focus away from all the real problems that still plague the game.

  4. Unrelated to this video, but with almost max luck on all clothes/bags and 3 minor luck trophies I've ran the Morningdale chest run 11 times now with not a single drop worth more than 200 coins, is that just how things are now? I haven't seen many videos talking about confirmed luck changes ect.

  5. open world raid boss, cool! monster hunter kinda deal and following albion online's open world valuable NPC kind of deal – in albion it's to attract groups to fight over the resources

ngl when i first saw this I was thinking NW devs finally snapped and lost their freakin mind

  6. So we're now alpha testers?
Seriously? Look at this content… this is not content, they took a mob and made it bigger, everything in this game is recycled everywhere. And i was willing to deal with that but they REALLY are not taking care of their own game AT ALL, i cant deal with it anymore, im out

  7. You know when WoW or FFxiv takes months and months between content drops its ok. But New World not dropping everything right now is just so terrible. This new MMO community is just so bad it's laughable.

  8. you can really hype people up 😀 but at this point, I wouldn't trust AG with holding a bowling ball – I swear they gonna break that somehow too. I don't even believe they meant this as a surprise 😀

  9. Its after Thanksgiving because its REVENGE for the turkeys. I also disagree that its a raid boss. You can solo this thing. However, as far as an event with multiple spawn point mobs go, this was a good initial test for them. They need a lot more random event generators that spawn mobs across zones. Corruption portals are all fine and dandy but they need more diversity in their events.

  10. Still engaged with your channel after your time with Genshin. Respect your positive but realistic outlook in that game and here in New World.

As a gamer who was looking at New World, my concern here is that this is content that should have been part of the core game. From the outside looking in, it looks like another recycled piece of content for players for test. Even if these new boss encounters are stable and bug free, it doesn't change how bland and unmemorable it is. Not every boss has to be a Sephiroth, LIch King or Devalin, but good boss design rewards player skill along with keeping the player engaged.

I don't want New World to fail. Behind the baffling and bad leadership decisions are the thousands of hours of art and technical work done by lower level people working to keep this game afloat. As I mentioned in a previous comment on another video, this cycle of break-fix to fix-break cannot possibly be sustainable. With the technical staff working through the Thanksgiving weekend, I'm hoping this [potential burnout is being addressed.
