  1. I just looked up the candle shop and I think I'm going to blow my budget on candles. A Blixa Bargeld devotional candle is a must have. (And Patricia Morrison is holding my bass). I always enjoy your vids. I hope you decorate your Hearse.

  2. Fantastic list of ideas. The only thing I would add would be gothic literature (books) and or absinthe related items. I can't complain really cause you nailed the coffin with all those items. I like just about everything you mentioned wholeheartedly. Thanks for posting this video! Happy Gothmas! 🦇💀🕸️

  3. Amazing ideas! Such Christmas presents, or even simply a collection of my favourite treats, I would welcome without hesitation. Porcelain dolls or even miniature Gothic-style structures might be suitable alternatives to offer too! 🖤

  4. This is awesome, Madi. Well done 👏🦇🧛‍♀️. I'd even recommend blank writing journals (goth themed, naturally). Some Goths can never have too many eyeshadows nor makeup bags. I've seen several Goth ones on Etsy, etc. If they still made black notebook paper, I'd highly recommend that and gel pens. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the black notebook paper sold anymore since the late 90's. Also, used Tripp, nyc, used Lip Service clothing, Morbid Threads, vintage Hot Topic clothing and jewelry is what I bought for myself since I'm an Elder Goth nowadays. 😎😄🦇👍

  5. You could always adopt a baby bat from the bat sanctity. I remember when I did this years ago when I was a teenager and they gave me some information about the bat and a little clearing of the bat and some photographs of the bat🦇🦇🦇🦇.

  8. Recieving the actual Christ into you heart, for Christmas would be the best thing you could do. All peace and love, but the wages of sin and hell, but God gives the free gift of eternal life (what your necklace symbol means) Through Christ Jesus.

  9. Five ideas, depending on the personal aesthetics of Your Deathrock Friend:

    1. An expensive niche fragrance that smells of incense and/or 'dusty old Victorian houses'. Consider scented candles such as Spiritus Sancti by Jovoy, Mary by Cire Trudon and Myrrh by Diptyque.

    2. A high quality niche fragrance that smells like a church, a heavy liturgical incense smell– but also smells undeniably expensive: La Liturgie des Heures by Jovoy, Gold Myrrh Absolute by Carolina Herrera Confidential (note: think of the collected steam of 100 mugs of hot chocolate forming a cloud dense enough to usher in theeeee most divine myrrh note you've ever smelled), Encens Asakusa by L'Orchestre and Relique d'Amour by Oriza L Legrand (note: the saddest, most melancholy smell in the world). Jovoy in Mayfair sell samples for a few pounds each of really gorgeous, unusual fragrances; buy your friend 10 or 20 to try and package them in an ultra-goth box (see below).

    3. Religious reclamation websites selling ornaments and antiques from churches etc. If you're friend is really creative, they'll find intensely inspired uses for things like tabernacles, altars, wall mounted objects, candelabras and velvet lined boxes with beautiful patina etc. A really great lampshade or even a box of red lightbulbs to transform a bedroom/living room is also a great idea. Same goes with vases; everybody thinks to buy flowers but hardly anybody thinks of making sure the recipient owns a really great variety of vases. Think of antique and vintage bric-a-brac markets and buy tiny little ones to put on shelves and bookcases, which can hold just a small posey or one or two flowers. So striking. Also please look at Anthropologie's wall-mounted hanging picture frames. Edwardian cottage-core; frameless but with silver etched corners, hanging from chains. Inexpensive and unusual Victoriana that's not cheesy, ultra versatile and good quality.

    4. Alfies Antique market in London has stalls selling all sorts of Victoriana, mourning jewellery and jet photo frames etc. Not as expensive as you'd think. *Also consider nightwear: look for plain Irish linen Victorian style nighties. Nobody ever thinks of things like this but every goth chick wants to feel like a Victorian at bedtime and instead gets cheesy pyjamas with fangs and bats on them. No, buy a beautiful simple 'Vampire bride' nightgown of good quality that's not cheesy and gimmicky like something you'd buy at the supermarket at Halloween.

    5. P2Bus in Chinatown London has THE BEST liquid liner on planet Earth: Heroine Make's 'Smooth Liquid Eyeliner'. It's a Japanese import and at 15 quid is a little over twice the price it would be if you were to buy it in Tokyo yourself. 15 quid is still really reasonable. Buy one for yourself too. Prepare to have your world rocked.

  11. The Cruxshadows' version of "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" is actually pretty fun to listen to. I'm a Goth too. I LOVE Goth music, black lipsticks, Gothic items and other stuff too. However, my family doesn't take me seriously as a Goth and thinks it isn't who I am which makes me sad. I grew out of my colorful and Pop music phase a couple of years ago. Don't plan on going back anytime soon. 🖤🖤🖤
