  1. I really like how the game feels gameplay wise, but even though I do not really care for the graphics of a game too much, this was a little too minimalistic for me to enjoy which made me return it after one hour of play time.

If after this they manage to get out a successor to this game with the same gameplaymechanics but better, more up to date graphics I will definitely buy that again.

  2. "It just goes to show that a game doesnt need next gen graphics to still be fun to play."

This quote is literally so true. Just like moistcritical said "1 terrabite isnt going to get you much, you'll only get to download like 4 or 5 triple A games because of the excessive storage requirements." Are games not realistic? im pretty sure they are so why are companies out there still bombarding games with graphics which the majority cant handle. not everyone has a godly expensive pc to handle it. At this point games are just unnecessary realistic. "What is good enough?" is the question.

  3. The "Main" reason this game became so popular so fast is because of content creators and youtube lets be honest which is the reason why most people gave it a try to begin with is because of the "Popularity". The great gameplay of the game is why people continue to play it and the game became a success. But if its only one thing this game lacks it's the graphics, not everyone wants a roblox kid looking war game but the gameplay is very well done. (Battlefield developers take notes now this can be your redemption moment)

  4. So it's a 6 year old game that's kind of like battlefield, but shitty graphics. Why would I not just play BF1 or BF5 if I hate BF2042 (which I don't at this point)?

  6. I’m sitting at about 10 hours and I can honestly say I’ve had more fun on this than anything in years, I probably haven’t felt this excited to play a FPS game since early COD days. Well done dev team

  7. Dammit. I tried the game yesterday for an hour, I did not like it because I felt like I was constantly spawning and dying, and was not having fun because of that. But it is nice to know that other people feel that way as well sometimes. I may give it another try, but only if my friends get it as well. I do like the squad size in the game.

  8. Pretty good review thingie, but if I might add, you seem to have missed a bit about how some of the influence on this game comes from Squad. I never played the non-remastered version, but maybe that was borrowing from Squad and Project Reality from the beginning as well

  9. I will say I absolutely LOVE the reload mechanic.

Feels like a good gamification of a valid battle concept of tactical reload vs an emergency reload.

Medic having Claymores is way too many and too stacked on the class, wish those were for support only personally.

  10. BAttlefield 2042 is without question the most amazing FPS ever created. Its not even close at this point. The argument that the company with the most success thus the most money hates gamers and prefers to destroy their own enterprise is something broke people, Gen Z/Millenials say. Nobody is going to play this minecraft garbage. Graphics matter as looking at the game there is zero realism. Zearo realism in a combat sim means no immersion. ITs basically a fun house.

  11. EA can't do it because they design games now for their shareholders instead of for players or out of passion. In other words, they try to strategize about what will make the most money and increase their stock price, instead of what will be a good game. So you get situations where they try to shoehorn the hero system into Battlefield because some executives think that's going to be popular $$$ and the result is a mess.

  12. NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT! It was criminal to not mention this in this video.

Totally unacceptable in 2023 and I tried different Steam configs for TWO HOURs. Unplayable and my excitement was turned into hours of frustration and wasted time trying to get 3rd party support. I play on my couch exclusively, I refuse to sit at a desk playing games after sitting at a desk all at work.

Refunded on steam, and even when they add controller support I'm so soured I won't repurchase. I can't imagine controller support is that difficult to add, I don't care how small the dev team is it's unacceptable to launch a game in 2023 without controller support. There are much more controller video game players than MKB. What a disappointing let down.

    I want my evening back

  13. I love this games exploding popularity if for no other reason than it adds insult to injury for EA/DICE and that atrocity of a game that is/was Battlefield 2042

  14. Magazines! Not clips.

    Small detail but very annoying.

It's like if you watched a review of a racing game and they call all the regular cars Trucks. "Of all the trucks you can use, the Corvette is the current fastest truck."

Politicians who try to bans guns but are entirely ignorant to anything about them, is where the general populous adopted the use of 'clip'. Using 'clip' shows you have zero understanding of anything about firearms, and someone who reviews FPSs you should at least know when to use the word clip or magazine when describing ingame things.

I wouldnt make a YT review of a new Photoshop add-on that uses a. 'brush" tool and call it the "painter tool". This is your profession, the terminology matters.

  15. I continue to beleive one of the dirty secrets of the AAA videogames is that very few of the people actually play videogames anymore. It's become a job, and likely the last thing they want to do when they get home. They are no longer capable of "finding the fun". At least not with the current way games are developed at most AAA game studios.

  16. I think that what makes the game amazing is because it's kinda like that feeling we have with minecraft, we can easily jump there and play a game for fun. Theres no objetive or rank to grind on, that makes the game more easy and fun. No one is playing hardcore to get to a specific rank, we just want to have fun. And theres the graphics thing, nowadays we are used to so much realistic graphics and with that comes the bugs and glitches, in this case we dont have those problems, theres no problems with the UI or graphics of the game, because thats not the objetive of the game. Overall that what makes the game fun, in my opinion.
