  1. I have been listing every day and I have sold more than I ever have, I’m thankful for your videos, I have learned so much from you. I sell mostly plush, but I also sell different types of things.

  2. I don't know what has been happening with my ebay store but last few days it's been fire I've sold over 10 items and a few kinda high dollar I'm so happy because a lot of times I can't even sell that many in a week and I have over 1400 items so hopefully it keeps going

  3. Love the video but Robert is wrong about Amazon, I can return items to Amazon free. Do it pretty often if I am buying things for the grandchildren and it doesn’t fit or they don’t like it it goes back usually thru kohl’s back to Amazon. I have never pay a shipping fee to send something back to Amazon but that said I have a prime membership and maybe that’s the reason I pay nothing. I dislike returns too but it’s part of the business but I still dislike them. I am top rated and every time I call EBay they try to talk me into top rated plus. I am not the high volume seller you are so I don’t know if it would be worth it. You had some great sales for after Christmas. I hope you have a great year.

  4. I know you and Robert have said this time and time again….sometimes it is not what the price of the item that matters….

I was leaning towards not listing a vtg bear floral stuffed animal because 1-low price 2-can be long tail (though i posted this one in Sept) and well…takes up space.

But then i received the following message…and it just warms the heart…

"I'm assuming this was the only one of these you had? My girlfriend got one of these bears from her mother when she was only 2 years old and it was her very first friend. Over those 33 years she's nothing but a worn out rag, with the stuffing gone, she's turned brown and yellow over time… She just opened it and has been crying for the last 20 minutes. She's so happy she messed her mother and grandmother. She can't believe i found one. Thank you."

  5. I stopped free returns for clothing .. it was getting out of hand the last few months .. I take measurements, and note any flaws…there were too many "try ons". I was doing free returns for years without issue until recently. Not sure what is going on.

  6. Always go to the bank where the check is written the second they confirm it will clear. By depositing the check she went in queue behind everyone else who was trying to cash their checks. Going to the issuing bank is called check burning. I go burn a check the second the bank says it will clear. Go to their bank, not yours.

  7. I am a Top Rated Seller Plus. I believe I get more sales because I offer returns with Free Returns. I cant prove it. Rbay could tell me if my item was selected over someone elses but they don't….I rely on the return process as a buyer when I make a mistake. I pay it forward to buyers. I sell alot of silverware. I get a return every month because someone bouugh my oval soup table dinner spoons but wanted teaspoons. I show measurements but buyers dont check measurements. My returns are minimal. I don't get INADs or negatives because I offer Free Returns. We'll worth it on unbreakable, low cost shipping items.

  8. Ebay will let someone return the item if they are not happy, regardless of whether or not you offer returns. So you might as well offer them and get the 10% fee discount if you are a TRS. If you are listing your products accurately your return rate shouldn't be more than 2%, a business that can't absorb a 2% return rate isn't a business at all.

  9. It blows me away at how some people will also order an item from a reseller , know that it works , and then exchange it for the same item that is broken that they own . Then, file a claim to get a refund. The audacity!

  10. My husband worked at a place that started bouncing payroll checks. We wound up with thousands of dollars in fees from the bank and places we had written checks to. That was the week before Thanksgiving 1999. It took us a long time to get out from under that mess.
Employer wound up locking the doors and walking away not long after.

  11. Yes, returns are part of reselling because a buyer will return whether you accept returns or not. Thank you for sharing the info on your return $$ and yes, I am making the change this year to accept returns.

  12. just curious if most of the returns were clothing? I have found that even though I can find mounds of clothing to resell most of it is not worth the time. I make more money on toys and hard goods and the time it takes to measure, or clean steam etc… clothing is just not worth it. They also have a higher rate of return. I know if it is for fit you don't have to return shipping but you still have to waste time dealing with the return. Great video
