What Really Happened to Charles S. Dutton in Jail.
Dutton got into a fight with a man he said attacked him with a knife, stabbing him seven times and while wrestling the knife into his hands, Dutton stabbed back, leading the attacker to bleed out on the street . At 17, he pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to five years in prison in 1967.
