  1. I think Liz and Navarro had a “thing” during that previous investigation. Liz was annoyed when she couldn’t figure out where Navarro put the canned food; as if to imply “you used to put them down here”.

  2. Navarro isn’t in the upside down or a camp. That’s the scene where her squad mate was killed that she sees in a vision. They got hit by an IED in their caravan. That’s the transport vehicle flipped in the background when Holden touches her.

  3. I appreciate your review! You are the first one to notice the color "dark teal" and its repetitive nature throughout. Hank painted an entire room that color, Darwin's picture was done in the same color, the fishing hut was painted in that same color of that "dark teal". Was that the ONLY paint color in town? DON'T get me started on that orange!! SUBSCRIBED!

  4. Here's something I picked up in Episode 1, that the ghost who showed Fiona Shaw's character where the frozen scientists were on the ice, is Rustin Cohle's Father, Lester. Remember in Season 1, Rustin had been in Alaska for a while because his Father was there and he was sick. You might have addressed this in a review of the first episode of Night Country, but I can't find your reviews of Episode 1 and Episode 2. Where can I find those reviews? Night Country made me want to watch Fortitude again, which I finished this afternoon.

  5. That “dolphin” circle was seals.
The moment of bowed heads at the meeting was for the baby that died.
In believe the black water bottle was paint for marking the face with the hand smear the mark of the protestors. The teeshirt has Annie’s mugshot on it. She’s the face of the protesters because of her brutal murder.

  6. Thanks for your very compelling recaps! You manage to point out what viewers may have overlooked, and you are doing it with a no-nonsense approach. It's not necessary to produce two-hour videos.
It's always difficult to decide if something which we believe to be very significant, is indeed an important clue, or if it's just a continuity error. It's also possible that the show-runners have used fridge logic or that they have jumped the shark and we have to suspend our disbelief 😉 We have the tendency to over-analyse everything, and we forget how difficult it is to make a movie or a tv-show and that many people are involved. It's not possible to get everything right!

  7. Sedna is the most distant solar system object ever discovered. It is twice as far from the sun as any other solar system object and three times farther than Pluto or Neptune.

Sedna is the goddess of the sea and marine animals in Inuit mythology, also known as the Mother of the Sea or Mistress of the Sea. I’m skeptical about the idea that the villain is Sedna. This is an actual Inuit deity. It would be very disrespectful to create a villainous, fictional version

  8. All good but absolute majority of the viewers hate the season 4 and maybe be little less politics(woke b s) less symbolism and more good storytelling would be more beneficial to the show, it’s not some French new wave film or Italian Neorealism after all

  9. I have another take on this, they are all halucinating into a frenzy, remember Lizz listening some white noise and some weird voices in the fridge? I think what happened to the scientists is a sort of "folie à deux"… And old tale or storie and they all got completely lost the plot and got so paranoid by a pathogen from the water that the just got scared to death, like the cariboos knowning they were facing there last minutes of sun before plunging in total darkness for months and decided to jumped over the cliff….Oh, when Navarro at the hospital listen that amputated scientist, she was halucinating. Other facts, most natives aren't really affected like the others as they have a healthier lifestyle…There's a pathogen in the water, that the Tsala discoved and unleash by mistake…A bit like the "COVID pandemic".

  10. The song the killer whistles is also ‘Twist & Shout’, by the way… it’s not just a random tune.

    He just does it slow/haunting.

Also, that “other world” she goes into is her battlefield from the war she was in, from the past, my man…. It’s obvious from the past flashback when she was holding the partner, who got her head partially removed.

  11. Lol damn bro. You got me thinking now. I use to know a kid named Wheeler Williams and he was a bad apple when we was kids. Lol. Seriously though. Yours has been one of the better in depths on the new season imo. Thank you for the awesome review

  12. 4:40 "NAVARRO COMMENT IMPLIES LIZ + PETE" …i disagree. Navarro was about to mention Liz boinking her COMMANDING OFFICER but stops mid sentence cuz Pete walked in. ALSO even tho' Pete's dad accuses liz of similiar saying she's pullin a "Mrs. Robinson on my son" (referencing "Mrs. robinson from Dustin Hoffman film The Graduate) he said such just to get under Liz's skin. Liz and Pete are strictly platonic and more motherly relationship as such an awful by liz would be completely counter to her professionalism.

  13. SEDNA THEORY?….nope (tho' well explained/researched). TUTTLE FAMILY (Tuttle Ministries Season 1) OWN research facility…that'll come back into play.
SUPERNATURAL ELEMENT?.. more than ANY prior season it's obvious there IS. Lund sitting up speaking, Navarro visions, widow's husband GHOST shows where men in ice are, one eyed polar bear in street same as Liz's deceased son's toy, fact TWO men clinically DEAD/FROZEN suddenly show signs of life. .. personally i think they went TOO FAR with supernatural in face. AND 👎 halfway through and no clear antagonist. At least with season 1 we knew cult bad guys, same season 2 and 3 we knew antagonists…but who's the bad guy here?? I fear this has become like the show FROM with ? after ? and NO CLEAR ANSWERS.. ya gotta give audience SOMETHING.
    BTW subscribed & liked👍!
