  1. How can any of these be on Reverb? I thought everyone has to sign a legal document stating they couldn't resell their guitar for x amount of years . . . and Gibson obviously knows which serial numbers are attached to each person who made the purchase. So how is that possible? Maybe they're fakes? I don't know who would open themselves to a lawsuit with Gibson when each purchaser had to sign a legal agreement . . . the flippers would never come out ahead if they got dragged into court. We all know Gibson will come after people, so who would be stupid enough to test that boundary immediately after getting the replica Greeny?

  2. Ugh, no thanks. I wouldn't buy anything from Gibson right now, other than the Original Series SG, Explorer or Flying V. And once the prices of those instruments exceed $2k, they basically have nothing that makes a reasonable value proposition anymore. Someone will bring up inflation and say the prices are the same they always have been… but wages never rose with inflation for the reasons Marx stated. Quality of life declines, you don't buy $50k les pauls… sorry.

  3. Great video guys. The whole experience package is interesting. Really makes you think twice about the price on the second hand market since the experience is not included.

  4. Jesus dude, comb your goddamned hair. You look like Lindsey Buckingham's homeless brother. 🤣😂🤘 Why didn't they have Kirk and Tom Murphy call up each person who purchased one and have them hand the guitars out?

  5. I would think, if i were to make a video about a guitar of this caliber, I might be able to wash and comb my hair.
That is some serious bed head dude. Just tacky. Maybe your mom could dress you next time. Or switch to radio.

  7. Without Peter it's just another marketing ploy for mugs. I don't think Gibson even tryed to clone it while it was in Peter's possession. Sorry if I've upset people but buyer beware. 👍🥃Respect to you fellas.

  8. I want to meet the 50 geniuses that will drop $50k for a non vintage instrument…..non vintage collectors are like model train set enthusiasts….they can’t play like a bad ass or do anything that can’t be measured by cash so these hobbies become symbols that allow them to feel what it might have been like to be as good at anything as Peter green was at music.

  9. It’s cool, darn cool even. But it’s not $50,000 cool, I’d give it $5-8000 cool.
The price on these reflects Gibson’s careful way of selling it’s name more than anything else, and I’m not that kind of fanboy.

  10. I nearly choked on my breakfast over the description of the buyer experience for this FIFTY K purchase- Free first class flight to Nashville, top-class accommodations, but you have to arrange your cab from the airport? That’s the most Gibson thing ever…

  11. I'm sure one of these days they'll have an Epiphone version,,based on this one's price,, probably be the one even regular Gibson customers can afford lol, maybe the Epiphone experience is with Dr Epiphone at a pizza hut and you get to meet kirk's mom in a Starbucks when you get your guitar

  12. As long people will pay 20,000 more than the first owner of these limited super expensive guitars they will sell out every time. A guy who can spend 50k on a guitar knowing that he can get his money back plus 10-20k in a couple weeks ( Adam Jones model anyone ) . It’s a no risk investment especially as hot as the market is now. You know several of these 50 will be flipped. I think most everyday players would be impressed sitting in the room with a touring musician even if you’re not into Kirk, I bet he can play circles around most people. You don’t tour the world going on 40 years without developing some serious chops.

  14. How is this guitar any different apart from the relic job…than any other Murphy Lab R9 historic reissue with a Bazillion board that's less than half the price of this thing.

  15. I am SO jealous you guys have one of those things there…..such a cool thing to have. Classic tone in a cooler body that's a bit sturdier. Would love to have a couple of them in my collection. Maybe you'd consider selling it to me or trading for 2 of mine that are super similar?
I'm talking about the Shure SM56 btw….not sure if I made the clear

  16. Gibson are world class at taking the piss. 50k for a new guitar is insane and anyone who bought one of these clearly has more money than sense. On a side note, the guitar should never have been sold by Moore, he was supposed to give it back to Peter if he ever decided he didn't want it any more. Once people stop buying these overpriced ornaments then hopefully Gibson can die the slow death they deserve for their crappy QC and insane pricing strategy.

  17. I was introduced, as it were, to the original by Gary Moore, who seemed very nice, after he'd done a gig at a London college and a couple pf pals and I had been invited to meet him. No, I didn't get to have a go.

  18. I don’t get it guys… Unless it’s THE original, what in God’s name could make it worth the price of a new truck..? It’s truly gorgeous but… just no… Unless it has alien otherworldly electronics and wood from Eden…. lol Nope. That being said, thanks for showing us and giving us the info on it. Great show as always. Respects fellas. Thank you! Cheers!❤️😎🎸

  19. Well, I watched HALF of this video. And aside from attempts to be funny and joking around there wasn't much talk or visual of this incredible guitar. Horrid video if you had clicked to check out the guitar. No thanks guys, try a different way because this format isn't gonna bring someone like me back to your channel, and I'm really middle of the road so to speak….
