  1. It’s great that it ended like that. It sets up other movies that can dive deeper into what Richard brake’s character was etc. what the homeless guy meant by “she’s not even the worst thing Down there” leaves so many opportunities for other creations

  2. I completely thought it was going to go the way that Keith was a stalker/rapist/murderer then it did a massive u turn I did not see coming and next thing I know Justin Long is face to deformed nipple for dinner time. Wild.

  4. 34:59 – the title seems to be explained by the fact that the address is on Barbary street! So the inhabitants of the house would be the barbarians. Loved watching your reaction!

  5. I think my favorite part of the movie was the cinematography. The camera angles they used. The 4:3 aspect when they did that flashback. Hell the beginning with the screaming and they pan into the car and it just stops.

  6. Hey you two might want to check out Deadstream, which came out on Shudder a week or two ago. I thought it was funny and really good. The people who made that also made the final segment of VHS 1999. Keep up the great work!

  7. Loved your reactions and glad you loved this film. I saw this movie twice in theaters and bought it as soon as it was released to streaming. Even on third viewing, it still holds up. This move is genius at subverting expectations. The first act was a perfect example of a slow burn thriller that kept you on the edge till the rug pull. I also thought the casting decisions for Bill and Justin were a genius meta way of winking at the audience; like we know you love Justin Long and we know you know Bill Skarsgard is Pennywise, but nope Justin's character is a dick and Bill's is actually a good guy.

  8. I don’t get some of the people in the comments saying there were so my illogical decisions being made. The only stupid ones were because of character flaws that have already been established ala her trusting nature of men especially ones she likes. She didn’t enter the dark room before looking with light, she left Justin seeing as he was in a situation she couldn’t help him from, she got help but they didn’t listen seeing the location and her current look. Like people saying she just should have left his ass to die don’t understand good human nature. He was a terrible POS who the second he was in danger threw her life away for his. I thought going in blind that this was a great movie. The worst you can say is Justin’s character is a literal dumbass because he sees cages and doggie food bowls and doesn’t run for the hills.
