What is the future of Chanel…?!

It’s official, there’s a new era on the way for Chanel. Virginie Viard has left Chanel, leaving one of the biggest luxury fashion jobs open. With the creative director musical chairs that keeps happening, this has also thrown some big name around as to who might be taking on the new Chanel job. I’ll be going through Virginie’s Chanel, who might replace her and what’s next for one of the biggest brands in luxury fashion…ENJOY!

  1. I concur with Thom Browne. As much as I appreciate the Sarah Burton nom, Chanel needs a nice jolt in the ass and not a retread – Thom may just be that. His menswear pedigree will work wonderfully in the 80s revival we are living through rn.

  2. The brand needs to be saved, badly, Virginie hasn't done a very good job during her reign. So someone from the outside of the Chanel "kingdom" should be suitable, he/she with no hidden agenda, meaning not the owner of a brand like Marc Jacobs. And no no, not kadarshians, someone with a real experience, not a person who depends on virality 😅

  3. A Chinese friend of mine told me that the cost of bags is very low. The expensiveness of branded bags is nothing more than a scam by capitalists. Some use the guise of charity and end up making a lot of money for themselves condup

  4. So Good! I LOVED this video! I obviously had heard Hedi and Jeremy, because Karl had jokingly promised them the roles. He also said Haider would succeed him years ago, which would have been amazing back at that time. I genuinely hadn't thought about Marc, in fact since you said it I think that would be the best direction in terms of experience, in spite of where his brand has gone. I LOVE how excited you are in this because its the same convo that my friends and I are having!

  5. I think a Jeremy Scott appointment would be SO much fun to see, however I don't think that's most likely. I'm excited to see who they do go with and for the next era of designs 👍🏻

  6. TBH Chanel has been boring lately whereas houses like LV are stepping up their game. I keep searching for another Chanel bag that I love but it’s been difficult. I was never a classic flap fan. I personally think they look like they’re a bag for seniors and my God who TF carries a jumbo in today’s day?!?! 😬 I do have one that I love from the cruise collection. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  7. I am very cautious about money management. I often realize that modest investment in appearance is necessary, but excessive consumption of luxury goods is unrealistic. Through a reputable online platform, condup I found bags that were both decent and affordable, effectively balancing image and budget

  8. Cassie to your point about Marc Jacob that he doesnt have the bandwid to work on 2brands let us not forget that Karl Lagerfield was designing for Fendi on freelance basis and had his own brand at the same time he was at Chanel…personally I think Chanel, theur style and prices are targeting older people so you don't really need a lot creativity and a genius to thrive their the work has been done by COCO and Karl ❤🎉

  9. Hi Cassie. Did I see Salzburg collection brooch or something😜 i have velvet chocker with that oval pendant . Anyways, I am kind of not so much in Chanel these days, i am obsessed with everything Phoebe, from old archives, to some new pièces. Also indulging in some Prada edgier pieces. Literally replacing Chanel with Celine old archives ❌😱😝. So whatever happens to Chanel, oh well, or I come back or not lol 🤪 Have a blessed day 🙏❤️

  10. Thought of Pierpaolo Picciolo immediately. He has proved that he can do Haute Couture beautifully, respect House tradition, brand estethics and elegance and at the same time be innovative and even edgy. I think Chanel and PP would be a very exciting match. I hope they don’t end up with one of these rather boring designers that are stuck in one style. Personally I think Galliano could be too risky for Chanel. Dior never recovered after his lavish designs for the House. Crossing my fingers for PP.
