  35. I will provide scripture that will clearly define what true saving faith is.
    Galatians  2:16 
    Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.  
    Galatians  3:22  But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.  
    James  2:1  My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.  
    Revelation  14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
    Romans  3:22 
    Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

    Did you notice in each verse it says the "the faith of Jesus "? It does not say faith in Jesus, but the faith of Jesus.

    Here is another verse.
    Romans  3:3 
    For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
    —-
    Again, it's not faith in God, but the faith of God.
    We now have the faith of the Son, and faith of the Father. What about the Holy Spirit?
    Galatians  5:22
    But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
    —
    Faith is of Jesus, of God, of the Holy Spirit.
    No person can bring forth saving faith from within themselves, it belongs to the Father Son Holy Spirit.
    So how does one get true faith?
    By doing what Jesus commanded / instructructed a person to do.
    Mark  1:15 
    And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

    Repent, to turn from their own will, and turn to the will of God and believe ( to be convinced)
    Faith means assurance, and is given to them that repent and believe the gospel.
    Ephesians 
    2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; (Faith of Father Son Holy Spirit) and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Faith is a gift.
    2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    This is why Salvation is eternal, that can never be lost to the one who has received the gift of Faith. Because it is the Faith of the Father Son Holy Spirit that is keeping a firm hold of a true born again believer.
    2 Timothy  2:13 
    If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

    True saving faith is all of the Father Son Holy Spirit
    A true born again believer, believes and knows that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, they know they have eternal life, because they were given the gift of faith, when they truly repented and believed  the gospel.
    Hebrews  12:2 
    Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
