What Is A Kamigawa Neon Dynasty Collector Booster Box Worth Two Years Later??

Hello everyone! In this video we open a Magic: The Gathering Kamigawa Neon Dynasty Collector Booster Box and take a look at the prices ~ 23 months after launch.

This certainly isn’t meant to be financial advice, but I do find it interesting to see a snapshot of the prices while looking at the cards. I really enjoy this set and I hope that you enjoy this video and find it useful in some way =)

I’ll list some timestamps here for your convenience:
0:00 Intro / Showing & Opening Box
2:06 1st Collector Booster & Card Slot Breakdown
4:26 2nd Collector Booster Pack
6:11 3rd Collector Booster Pack
7:37 4th Collector Booster Pack
9:29 5th Collector Booster Pack
11:02 6th Collector Booster Pack
12:44 7th Collector Booster Pack
14:40 8th Collector Booster Pack
16:51 9th Collector Booster Pack
18:26 10th Collector Booster Pack
20:18 11th Collector Booster Pack
22:03 12th Collector Booster Pack
23:43 Transition
24:20 Total Box Value (TCG Market) & Pricing Explanation
26:40 Total TCG Buylist Prices
27:24 TCG Buylist ($1 Cutoff)
28:24 TCG Market (Bulk Cutoff)
30:12 TCG Mid (Bulk Cutoff)
30:02 Final Remarks / Outro

A quick note: After editing this whole video together and getting it ready to upload, I noticed that the price on the Pilot and Ninja tokens is actually for the single-faced foil versions of the cards, and not the double-faced versions shown here. The double-faced ones are worth much less for some reason, but due to the ripple effect of one card changing every other on-screen price total and the amount of time that it would take to re-edit and re-record the voiceover I am leaving the footage as is. I apologize for it being inaccurate, but hopefully this addendum serves as enough of a notice of the price chance. Feel free to subtract $11.07 of Market Value from the Totals if you’d like to remove those tokens from the calculation entirely. Again, I apologize for the inaccuracy and any confusion that it may cause.
When doing the price overlays I also noticed that the Hidetsugu Consumes All was number 486 (worth $3.22 TCG Market in foil) and not number 211 (worth $3.07 TCG Market in foil), which I did change on the screen when I pulled the card, but not in the total price breakdown sections as that was recorded prior, so add 15 cents in there if you’d like.
There may be other discrepancies as well, I’m not perfect and I can’t catch them all, but I do try my best to be accurate and transparent with the information that I am presenting.

Disclaimer: This video is entirely for entertainment purposes. Please do not make any purchasing decisions based on the content within. Trading collectables on a secondary market always carries an inherent loss of risk and I am not responsible for any losses that you may incur. Even in the 8 hours between filming, editing, and posting this video many of the cards may have shifted in price. Perform your own due diligence. That being said, I hope that this video can serve as a fun snapshot of one individual’s personal experience with purchasing, unboxing, and pricing this cool product.

  2. Love Kamigawa!! But I recently tried to sell some copies to a shop, they would only give me 1/5 of the market price…i don't think it is relevant to show the market prices since you show how much you would pay to buy it not how much you would be able to sell it…
