For some reason Obi Wan decides to take the red drink. Obi-Wan awakens in a robotic body of sorts. Turns out Star Wars was a simulation made by Mouse using the movies. Mouse wanted to talk to Obi Wan being the fanboy he is, even telling Obi Wan he wondered how many more "runs" of the simulation (the movies) would take him to accept the red drink. And he explains everything.
Obi Wan is not amused, in fact he is extremely pissed off. The death of Qui Gon, all he has suffered, for the amusement of a movies fandom? Worst of all, he is being set up to fail Anakin, the galaxy fall to the Sith, the rise of the Empire with Palpatine even coming back after his "death".
Obi Wan tells Mouse in the most undiplomatic language ever that he wants nothing on his "reality" his life is the galaxy, he is no better than the "machines" he talks about and if Mouse is such a "fan" he will understand and allow him to change things.
Mouse agrees and is intrigued to see how the simulation could change. He tell Obi Wan he can put him back, he cant put him back with the knowledge of the future he has, the program would reject him and overload with all that new data.
Instead he offers Obi Wan that he will retain all other knowledge pertaining this conversation, how it is all a program and will be put back like those that break free from the Matrix and come back, free from the rules of the system and even teach Obi Wan how those that take the red pill and go back can now change the Matrix. But in order for the program to not reject him, Obi Wan cant immediately get that knowledge. Instead he will remember all this the moment Anakin is having his first nightmares of Padme. This will have to do, and so Obi Wan is put back.
He believes he just passed out from the drugs and everything goes as usual. Until we get to Revenge of the Sith, while Anakin is having his nightmares of Padme Obi Wan has a dream about the conversation with Mouse and he wakes up now knowing that everything, including The Force is just code.

Thank you for the story! Maybe because it is due to my being a novice with Star Wars, but it didn't seem like it was so much out of character for the Jedi. After all, the Jedi mind trick alters the mind of the individual, so altering a dream seemed to me to be just an expansion of this. I did like how Windu was not presented as an antagonist to Anakin in a manner that made sense. It changed nothing about him established, but how, as people, we can in the moment be compassionate and learn when to choose to speak about rules and regulations.
On an aside, as the last year ends, and this new one begins, I want to thank you for your channel and stories. Without you, your what if the chips failed story, I would not have though to check out the Bad Batch and from there discover the other animated shows such as Clone wars nor Rebels. Thank you for that and may you have a very Happy New Year!

Anakin’s visions of the future were a gift of the force…or, they indeed WERE the force itself. Could Yoda have altered and/or deleted said visions without causing imbalance in the force? There must be balance. Say the green one had the power to keep the future-dreams from The Chosen One, how would this imbalance manifest in the flip/Sith side?
