  1. Honestly, after seeing the successes Thorgrim did have, and the role the gigantic chaos invasion had in his ultimate failure, I'm pretty sure at least some young and adventurous dwarfs would support trying his approach again.

  2. As much as I loath End Times, specifically for destroying entire continents, such as the sinking of Ulthuan, the nuking of Lizards and Grimgor's eastern adventure, this was a pretty well put together video. I honestly think a bit more rollback wouldnt hurt to prevent or at least help unmake some of these events. If anyone, Teclis could make Ulthuan rise again, if he isnt gonna be stuck in the new Vortex like Caledor was. Slow cleansing of Lustria coupled with Skaven hoarding the warpstone underground could also make those continents livable again someday.

Personally I see a Total War-esque Ordertide needing to be formed for them to even stay alive. The bad guys reproduce quicker, skaven and greenskins specifically, and as you outlined, Nagash is the next big bad. Either the Ordertide beats them back time and time again and slowly strengthens, or the baddies need to deal with each other to let the 'good' guys even stay alive.

Thanqoul being in charge of the Skaven would explain why they failed and will fail and fail again. Perfect. For Greenskins, Grimgor needs to die. That orc is a walking plot armor, he cant blow up entire nations anymore for the lore to make sense. Nagash also has to go again. Such as Settra, Kroak and Alarielle uniting to bring him down if need be, or some baddies do it. Skaven again, maybe, or Chaos. A Tyrion and Alarielle marriage backed by Teclis would likely have the power to finally kill Malekith, with mommy protecting him gone and would also stabilize what remains of the elves.

Chaos might resort to using cults for a while over big invasions, which during these tumultous times, might just cause entire fiefdoms or imperial provinces to declare for a certain Chaos God. Meaning in a way they might just be more dangerous than ever before. But they also might see Nagash for the threat he is and focus on him to keep their mortal playground alive. Wouldnt that be ironic?

Of course, the setting *is*grimdark, but for the goodie races to survive, the plot has to make some sense, and the AoS power level in fantasy cant stay on for long, unless they continue to exhaust each other. On a personal note, if Franz died, would love Vamperor Vlad to reign supreme, no matter how many hoops the story has to go through to make him sit on the throne. In a world where undead are the biggest players, it would only make sense, however long would it last.

  3. I''ve actually been running a Warhammer Fantasy RPG Campaign using this premise. Now referred to as the Second Great War Against Chaos. Made some changes and speculations of my own, but I love the Endhammer Scenario.

  4. oi m8; something I'd love to see talked about by someone who actually has a grasp of both systems is:
    Space Marines vs. Clan Elementals
who is the hardest post-human soldiers in the galaxy?
Space marines famously have extra organs and cybernetic enhancements, while Elementals are laboratory refined superhumans, as adults fully capable of going toe-to-toe with 400lbs Silverback gorillas in a fistfight and holding their own.
Elementals are also expected to fistfight battlemechs, something most space marines I don't think are capable of… what I am saying is there can be some fun back-and-forths here.

  5. The lady of the lake being Lileith is just straight up fanfiction and a godess being an "elven godess" (rather than a godess also worshipped by the elves) is an unbelievably stupid concept. One of the worst end times crimes against the setting.

  6. You sold me on the sleep masks. Here I am at 12:30 waiting to fall asleep…
No doubt a huge quality of life improvement, and I might still put on a youtube video to listen to — but without the temptation of watching, I should fall asleep much quicker

  7. I'm basically in the process of running a D&D campaign inspired by the Warhammer fantasy setting where the players get to stop the End Times so this is hilarious to me. I think I'll make the meta end game boss to be Games Workshop 😂

  8. Am I the only one who expected AlternateHistoryHub to turn up when Pancreas said "let's do some fake alternate history"?

Can you imagine those two doing a video together? You'd never know who was talking…

  9. Saying Kieslev having survived the apocolyse before and would do it again if need be. Is such a Kieslev thing to say Comrade. The armoured polar bears are sleeping on a mountain of half-eaten corpses all over the the ice wastes.

  10. Bretonia having to reckon with its formative religion being a fake would be the most interesting thing to happen to Bretonia and actually could be really cool. This whole video just makes me realize how (even more) dumb blowing up Fantasy was, because they could do a pretty big reset of the universe even with Chaos losing. Your entire society being in flux for a hundred years or so and reorganizing is even a pretty good time to change its identifying name to something different (and copyrightable.) All while not throwing away all of the history of an entire setting!

  11. This is exactly what I did when I first started playing AoS when version 2.0 got released and I got back into warhammer! I wrote a campaign for my friends about how the stormcasts where just soldiers blessed by Sigmar and had them run around the world trying to stop Chaos in Nuln and in Talabecland! 😊

  12. I'm genuinely shocked that your soft-nerf of the Skaven didn't result in Thorgrim NOT getting meme-stabbed because Naruto took advantage of Thorgrim just being a doddering old fool for no reason.

  13. Regarding the Lizardmen, hear me out: They take their temple-ships & go the way of Ghibli’s Laputa, ominously floating over the chaos wastes before nuking them from orbit (after all, it’s the only way to be sure).

  14. I don't think the skaven would return to normal at all: with Nagash as the new dominant power in the world, he's going to make his first order of business wiping out the rats that keep blowing up all his stuff. This would probably lead to a couple hundred year war that ends in the skaven nuking him back into a ghost, with the forces of the skaven and death left in tatters.

I also imagine the orcs would migrate north because chaos gave them the best fight they ever had, and with all the major threats killing each other oder would start to rebuild.
