Mon Mothma is the absolute worst. Just a terrible character from jump.
Mothma: "Many Bothans died to bring us this information."
The Room: "Shit, really?? We're just here for kicks and didn't realize the Empire was killing people. It sucks that ALL the Bothans died; but it does explain why they have never once showed up to help."
She leads a military rebellion, which costs millions or perhaps billions of lives, and then relies on the honour system upon assuming command. Hell, Neville Chamberlain would have been a better choice. A fun "What If?"

What if Anakin,Obi-Wan ,Mace Windu and Yoda were brought into the sequel trilogy from the world between worlds
What if maul used mandalor to take control of the neutral systems. I remember pre visla telling maul that mandalor was the head of a coalition of neutral systems. What if he was able militarize them like he did to mandalor and then took on the empire.
This could be an interesting concept:

Just a small point. The position of queen on Naboo requires an election (maximum of two terms of two years each.) The position of senator is appointed, usually by the queen. Padme wouldn’t need to run for office. Once the queen of Naboo saw and understood who she was, she would probably get the job, however that would probably require her to do so as herself and not under an alias.

☝However…Padmé died mere minutes, if that, after giving birth. Obi-Wan, Bail, and I think Yoda were in the room when she passed on. They would have certainly seen two unfamiliar people yoink Padmé through a portal, wouldn't they?

In the thumbnail I imagined way to save Padme: pull her through the portal thing, stun Amakin, kick Anakin in the nuts (a male stun), push Anakin from behind into the lava early, chop off Anakins arm again, French kiss Anakin to destroy his focus, leg sweep, robe wedgie, throw sand, grab padme and pull her through, yell Boo in Anakin's ear, dead leg anakin, etc.
I lot of ideas involving messing with Anakin.
What if Luke studied force heal before return of the Jedi and used it to heal Vader before he died. In this process, he was healed enough to ditch the suit and fetch some clothes from the shuttle. Over time anakin’s look would come back. Don’t know how the judgement on Vader would fit in but they could say Vader died on the DS2 and only Luke, leia, and Anakin would know at first the truth.
