  1. This is definitely the best one of the series so far. However I think the fatal flaw in the entire thing is Harry being on the quidditch team in book one. Mcgonigal is the teacher who sees him catch the remembrall, so she would not get him into team slytherine

  2. Goblet of Fire is gonna be interesting, when harry was in Griffondor, people were worried about a Slytherin being picked for the tournament, now harry IS in Slytherin, who know's how people will react

  3. (9 min and 25sec) Harry actually only realised that that dementor was his greatest fear when he faced it again in the lesson, he thought before that, that Voldemort was gonna come, which it says in the book

  4. Love this series so far. Was thinking… please do one for hufflepuff and ravenclaw. It’s interesting to think how that changes the storyline. Being in slytherin already changes so much of how Draco treats harry but also how shape does since he doesn’t view harry in this as a clone of James but rather a dream of how Lily could have been. I’m interested to hear how being in hufflepuff would have changed the story like how then in goblet hufflepuff would have had 2 champions who likely had a stronger bond before the events of goblet.

  5. I'm curious as to what Draco's happy memory was to conjure the Patronus during the exams cause knowing what we do about him and his current life, dont see many options to what it may be🤔

  6. I kind of disagree that Draco's boggart would turn into a dementor because didn't Lupin say that the boggart taking that form actually signified bravery (the thing you fear is fear itself)? I don't think Harry and Draco are on the same level, and perhaps Draco's boggart would be Tom Riddle or something else, but not a dementor because that seems so unique to Harry.

  7. I'm really loving Draco's story and development as a character throughout this au, and I'm really looking forward to how he is going to change some of his future. An example would be given that the cabinet wasn't broken and that he is reconsidering the whole pureblood thing I could see him not becoming a death eater and that not really being an issue for that plot point. Although him not being a death eater would mean he wouldn't be able to stay with his family, maybe even endangering them in the process (although with his father in prison would he stick around) where would he go though? Could it be that by then him and Harry's relationship has grown much stronger and that Dumbledore would have a solution to this, maybe staying with the order. Or would he end up becoming a death eater just apart of the order as well, being a spy of some kind??? So many questions and I cant wait to see what you guys come up with next!

  8. Wasn't one of the main selling points of the Firebolt that it was under a unbreakable charm of some sort? I can't remember exactly but I thought I read this in the books. So CAN the whomping willow actually break the firebolt is a legitimate question..

  9. I'm sorry but they're too quick to assume some change in Draco and his relationship to his dad or his ideology. I just don't buy it. Even in the main story, it's not like Draco swears off his blood purity ideology, he just doesn't want to be a pawn for Voldemort and his home and parents to be threatened.

  10. As soon as you said Snape pursues Lupin through the castle, I pictured some Scooby Doo version of Snape chasing Werewolf Lupin through the hall and various doorways. 😂

  11. Fairly sure Draco would see his father, from the boggart, even with the changed book 2. Being affected by the dementors I can get though.
    .
As for the prophecy the obvious answer is, in one of her moments of actual prophecy it, would be changed itself, as this wasn't a previous prophecy but a new one.

With that said your story makes more sense when they release Lupin he instead uses his werewolf powers to catch up to Sirius and Petigrew, Harry and Hermoine take off after him cloaked, realizing he's about cause major causality issues. By the time they catch up however things have already changed as caring more about his friend than his secret right now, he was none too subtle and as they make it to the room they see things turning to chaos as Lupin is grasping Petigrew about to gut him, as even werewolfed out he can't stop their soul draining power, Sirius yells at Lupin to do it, he'd rather Harry was safe than his name cleared, but there are also a bunch of professors including Snape entering the hall. To the professors obviously at first glance this looks bad with passed out past Harry and Hermoine next to Sirius, who apparently has a werewolf about to kill people and they start to try and stop the werewolf, while Snape, knowing the dementors are actually the biggest threat here summons his patronis, realizing their about to go after passed out past Harry and Hermoine, and as collateral saving Sirius too. For present/future Harry and Hermoine though things are starting to get weird and they, while still covered, slump against a far wall while, the world is going blurry, head pain, and its kind of clear, while their trying to remain quiet their minds are struggling with having two different version of this events and they ultimately pass out for a bit too.

Time advances shortly. Luckily for time space Lupin is a smart cookie and when Dumbldore arrives to question Lupin why he suddenly attacked somebody (he'd been locked up alone in a dungeons alone, were else would you restrain a werewolf) he explains the whole situation with Pettigrew and how he almost had him until the demontors showed up and he got hit with multiple paralysis spells, which let Pettigrew get out of his grasp and escape in the commotion, further when going over getting out of the room he realizes the people who freed him weren't present (from his perspective) Harry and Hermoine, but future ones, since obviously two teens didn't outrun a werewolf and have time to be incapacitated and thus Dumbldore needs to go send Harry and Hermoine back saying something vague about how Sirius' life is in danger but they can save him. Dumbldore takes care of sending Harry and Hermoine back to stop time from being majorly damaged and starts to wonder why they haven't returned and starts looking for them, going off Lupin's tale he realizes they might actually be somewhere in the area where the fight occurred, and with a bit of making it look like he's the headmaster trying to investigate the scene of the incident, he logically deduces where they are, before sneakily removing the invisibility cloak, and seeing them starting to come to, uses some practical magic (trickery) to make it sound like he just found the two stumble in and collapse, making some quip about they shouldn't have pushed it so hard after a dementor attack and having them taken back to the infirmary.

As their coming to Harry and Hermoine and rather sad they failed to save Sirius, but then Dumbldore tells them, actually everything is fine since multiple professors saw the person he was accused of murdering, very much alive, being held up by a werewolf, and while he won't condone what he did turned out while Sirius was locked up Snape decided to brew up a truth potion, because he wanted to know why Sirius was talking about protecting Harry, and questioning him under the potion about past events, has combined led to rather decent proof he didn't murder Petigrew and wasn't the one who sold out Harry's parents to the Death Eaters, thus pending paper work and verifying this evidence the Ministry is set to pardon him.

We montage or something through the rest of the time until the school year is done, papers about how Sirius Black was innocent as the headlines. Harry is getting ready to go live with Sirius, until Sirius and Dumbldore approach him and explain the depressing nonsense that living with the Dudley's has been extending the protection against Voldermort he has, even though its weakening over time and with Petigrew lose and the Death Eaters loyal to Voldermort getting desperate, he very much needs that protection. Sirius tries to lighten the mood with a bad joke about how it will at least give him time to fix up his house since most of the family has been dead or in wizard jail, but elsewise for school holidays and paperwork he's been allowed to do his god father duties for Harry.

There is also an extra credits scene where some Ministry agents are talking to Hermoine, to take back the time turner and we have some exposition dump, where time magic has been acting up all around and not working, and they tracked it back to an anomaly at Hogwarts, they however, due to the nature of the problem, just think it was a previously unknown issue with frequent use of a time turner, and apologize for unknowingly putting her in danger, and the policy on using time turners for trivial matters such as taking extra classes is being reevaluated, for when the anomaly settles down and it can hopefully be safely used again. (nothing to do with Harry being in Slytherin, just patching a plot hole)
