Dr Giro has been trying to use his scientific researches before his appearance so once the story is changed, He must have consider that whole race has been revived.
I bet He would come with Android 19 18 17 and He might even get killed by 18 and 17 and 16 might be revived.
Remember when Dr Kigo computer was taking information and genes during Frieza saga.
for this reason He would want to come along with 17 and 18. but He would be killed and in conclusion They would find 4 Androids chasing them instead of Dr Giro and Android 19.
