Really the best move is to just chill out and keep the status quo. Maybe if China walks back the invasion rhetoric and build up, the US and Taipei can ease up on the semiconductor bans and we could cool things down a bit. Make it like 20 years ago. Ahhhh… the entire senario is wrong from the beginning…this is disapointing considering the high quality episodes of this show…
This ignores so many things that would happen. For example, it's not just China hitting Taiwan with missiles. Taiwan also has ballistic missiles. It's been estimated that they could take out 30% of the Red Chinese economy, including hitting Beijing. The destruction would be catastrophic for the Reds. And of course Taiwan would hit many military bases, pipelines, fuel storage and weapons depots. Resupplying troops would be a nightmare for China.
Then again… it's China.
