Ok I really like these what ifs stories but I really don't like how order 66 is used as a crutch in them, this story was already going a different way than the main story why not run with that and have anakin and plo arrive to see windu holding Palpatine at the wind with plo as another voice to try and talk windu down or stopping windu's strike thus putting Palpatine in a bad spot an anakin seeing plo defend not only Palpatine but also the jedi way he arrest Palpatine taking him away while plo arrest windu and garthers the necessary evidence in Palpatine's office to prove Palpatine was the traitor, these what ifs are great but they get predictable when almost every one has Palpatine ordering order 66 and the jedi still die when there are a whole host of potential story beat you can use when you ask what if anakin went to person x and told them the true and they decided to help him. I don't really get why order 66 has to almost always play a role in these what ifs especially when most of the what if is setting up a different outcome for instance plo koons involvement in this story wouldn't change the outcome of windu and Palpatine until either anakin shows up or not, and I wouldn't be complaining about this if it didn't keep happening not just on this channel but on most of the star wars what if channels I've been watching lately, another thing that bugs me about the over reliance of order 66 is that it's always treated like the jedi had no idea about order 66 when they actually knew it existed what caught them off guard was they never thought it would be used like it was that was the genius behind Palpatine's plan both the jedi and senate knew all of the emergency contingency orders including order 66 the inhibitor chips just forced the clones to follow the order with out question.
