Falling to the dark side isn't something that just happens or can easily happen to any Jedi. Lucas wrote an excellent story, demonstrating how it took Palpatine, the most cunning and powerful of all Sith, years and years of planning and manipulation to turn a relatively easy, vulnerable young man to the dark side. It's not something that just happens, because they became a little bit angry one day.

I think this is a perfect way to drive the story. With the addition of Shmi to keep him in check he would be a much more balanced individual.

Honestly if that were me and the woman I loved along with my mother (who I just saved no less) started to talk down to me for that long for killing a bunch of savages (and no Disney’s version of them was never how they were supposed to be) I would have jumped back on my speeder bike and gone to the nearest pub just to get away from those two.
But wait Anakin only killed The Tuskan raiders when is Mother died. Anakin would have likely left with his mother if she still lived.
This is great stories as first didn't that Anakin killed the Tusken Raiders but like how set Anakin story and relationship with both Shmi and Padme through the story like make different to Anakin choices war even know wouldn't called them war crimes and do like make to how he thinks his actions and like near end Anakin hit Palpatine with a 180 saying oh your Sith Lord whatever that was surprising and funny in same time and like at end Padme and Shmi help Anakin in end so great and beautiful story Pente Patrol Star Wars

Sorry, but I don't buy this "If you kill them you become like them" argument. There is a lot of vicious evil hiding behind the word 'raider'. Including crimes that Youtube and Disney prefer we don't mention. Historically, people who are potential or actual victims of such 'raiders' know exactly what they really are (as opposed to the PG rated version Disney presents them as) and wouldn't urinate on them if they were on fire.
So yes, you can make the argument for more ethical treatment, but having been though an actual raid, I do not buy Shimi making it.
