The news media has recently told us that possibly China and N. Korea (and maybe other countries) have access and or have control of the USA infrastructure. Do they ALSO have access/control of USA Nuclear Weapons and WMD ?
And we wonder why an advanced civilization wouldn't want to communicate with us. We kill our own kind by the millions. WW2 had 60 million+ dead after all was said and done. I would not want to communicate with a species like that either. We do that to each other what would we do to another smart species? Besides, if they were amongst us im sure they would view us as nothing more than a pest or bacteria that would need to be exterminated before the planet is trashed beyond repair. As a human i think we have become a cancer to this planet. We only live for ourselves with no thought of those to come and what we are leaving them. We are the cause of the 6th great mass extinction with species being lost to time by humans everyday. We wiped them out for fur and ivory. Whale blubber and oils. All that stuff that was made has deteriorated to nothing so it was all pointless then too. The way they kill sharks by the 10s of millions every year for their fins only. Yea. As an advanced species it would be easy to say humanity is broken beyond repair, and say they are so selfish with their own desires they can never achieve peace.

Important clarification. The moon is not 1/4 the earth's size in any but one metric.
By way of circumference, the moon is roughly 1/4 of the earth's. That said, by way of mass or surface area, the moon is much, much smaller.
This is because of the cubed squared law, but yeah, the moon's mass is only 1% of the earth, and has only 7% of our surface area.
It's sort of like saying that the a poster on the wall is "half" the size of the real celebrity, despite being a piece of paper just a meter long.

But there will be a world war again as we can see from Chinese/ north Kore, Pakistan etc… once that happens, I can guarantee that one of the continents will be no more on earth.
