  1. Many colleges and universities can help students with food assistance. One thing that my local community college does that is really helpful is to provide ALL students with a free snack and free drink every day, no questions asked. They also partner with the food bank to provide more assistance to students who need it. Making the snacks and drinks available for everyone is helpful, though, because you don't have to worry about whether you qualify for help, and there is no social stigma since it is for everyone.

  2. When i was living in my car, i witnessed another homeless person walking around and digging in the trash for food and something to drink. I felt awful. I had very little for me and my family to eat, but i gave him a couple things to eat and a bottle of water…he deserved better than to eat from rhe trash(even though id never been homeless prior, ive have done this even then. In fact i actually have. Ive given what i could, whether it was small or a bag of food)

  3. I’ve seen videos of people dumpster diving for food that is nearing expiration, you’ve probably seen a few, they find huge pieces of meat some still frozen, eggs, seafood, fruits, veggies, & drinks too…..anyone in those areas is set for a long time, almost no need to use money except on gas…..I’d do it if I lived there….😮
