What happens when you die in dead island 2?
This doesn’t apply to main boss fights.
but out in the world, If you die, you don’t respawn at a check point from 5 minutes earlier. Your death is your checkpoint…
You respawn with the same weapon health you had when you died, any broken weapons will still be broken, any environmental hazards that have a one time use will be gone, and any health packs you used will not be re-stoked. The good news is the zombie’s health will still be at whatever level it was at when it killed you.
That does sometimes feel a little cheap.. When you almost make it through a tough area, die, and restart – expecting a second try at a big fight. but really you just smack the last zombie one more time and it’s over. It’s fine, it’s fine.. but it does feel like a cheated win. so best just not to die, that’s what I do!
