  1. What? No mention of the B-52 bomber crash with nuclear weapons over Spain after a in-flight refueling gone horrible wrong during a Operation Chrome Dome Nuclear launch standby? The most expensive in-flight refueling misshap which tossed several nuclear bombs into Spain or it's waters. Setting up a massive and expensive search for a lost nuclear bombs and a clean up of radiologically contaminated top soil which had to be scraped off and loaded onto ship and transported all the way to a US hazardous waste holding facility. A boo boo so big it would help bring about the end to the idiotic program of orbiting fully armed bombers all over the world. A disaster of far reaching proportions that would strain relations with Spain and decades later effect a flight of F-111 bombers in a strike against Libya. 7 people died in that event.

Now that was an expensive mishap! But I guess that deserves its own video.

  2. Gasoline cars need their engines shut off during refuling. Gasoline street cars are required to have evaporative emissions system. If gas is pumped with the engine running, the evap system will sense a huge system leak, then turn on the Malfunction Indicator Light. Diesels can be left running, no evaporative emissions system.

  3. Unless the fuel for a car is more volatile than normal, gasoline and its vaporized form can only be ignited via open flame, or sufficiently powerful spark
Your phone ain't gonna do shit.
Any one who genuinely thinks otherwise is a dunce.
The Myth busters tested all of these, and only an open flame and sufficiently powerful spark ignited both the fumes and liquid

  4. 1:14 I’m not saying conclusively that that didn’t happen, but the horizon stayed consistent for the whole time until the E3 dived down. If the bottom of the refuelled was pushed up by the bow wave of the E3 then you would expect the refuelled to nose down which would mean we would see more sky. But instead the horizon stayed the same which just makes me think this was human error with pilot induced oscillation.

  5. In the four years I've been in my squadron, two of our jets have only caught two baskets when refueling midair. That basket was clean yanked out both times. One from some AF refueler and another from our wing's tanker squadron. For the tanker squadron, I guess the AD's didn't check those lines well and caused that mishap.

  6. should still be able to land
    due to autorotation.
    um..no, according to helicopter
    school, that is absolutely incorrect.
"land" the plane. expectations vs reality.
    the pilot….Might survive. you're
talking about spinning out of control.
    really kickass videos, btw.

  7. Why give medals to those people ya it could of been a lot worse yet, no one thinks about the cost to tax payers for these mistakes…. 2 million to fix that f-35 that looked fine that's inflated and unnecessary

  8. Hey…. I’m 18 and new to history or newly found the love of history. I asked my grandfather about this but he gave me an explanation I don’t think I can repeat….
Why do people throughout history give Jews a hard time? And do they deserve it??
