Lincoln wants to remind you that his back tattoo is only halfway complete. Help him get that fire-breathing dragon finished by SUBSCRIBING and LIKING ✌
For Milan, definitely recommend the Last Supper, the Duomo rooftop (go on a clear day, take the stairs), and the Navigli area around the canal — some cute restaurants and bars. Outside the city, take the train to Lake Como — recommend going to Varenna and taking the ferry around over visiting Como itself.
I can’t imagine going to a store and seeing so many baguettes …wow so much choice. Those tulips are beautiful. Thankfully you bought some. One of my favourite flowers. Great natural video
Seeing Lincoln on the tractor cutting with a mower deck brought back memories of my husband trying to sharpen the blades on ours before he bought a riding mower and put the mower deck in the barn where the new owners can deal with it.
Santa Croce is close to Milano and is the home of Leonardo's "Last Supper"
Are you allowed to put photos up at the vets of the kittens??? Is there a notice board in the Supermarkets or other stores you shop at that you could post about the kittens.?? Maybe you have you have thought of all these ideas. Thanks for video. Watching From Australia.
I loved a day in a life! Did you remember the donkey hay? That was so funny!
Love watching your videos. They make me feel like I’ve known you guys for the longest time. There’s always something going on that I can relate to – whether a trip, renovations, or just showing us the cats, dogs and donkeys. The drone shots are also beautiful and just amazing! 😃😃😃😃😃
Hey, In my shop we built a glass rack for customers mirrors and other glass while we do restoration of their furniture. You could easily do the same and create several size gaps so that the panes are sorted when you move them until you need them. Ours is wrapped in carpet but you may not need to do that.
Best, Brian
Enjoy your videos…..they always make me chuckle. Thanks for sharing your interesting life. 🌷
Re Milan…the Stanley Tucci series Searching for Italy has a great episode on Milan that gives some advice on what to do and see there. Season 1, episode 4. You can stream for free with Max or on Prime Video for a couple dollars USD. Have fun!
I LOVE THE KITTIES!!!❤ The
IL Duomo cathedral is gorgeous!
I often get into discussions with people who see those who live in chateaux as somehow privileged ! I tell them that it means, thermals, long johns, wellies, chillblains or sun burn, leaks and basins, dry rot or woodworm, weeds galore, quick meals, wood cutting and fire stoking, more weeding, more weeding again, ivy pulling, paint and more paint and constant checking for new problems. It rarely means evening dress and caviar and few have a fleet of Range Rovers and big machinery in the garages. It is a lifestyle choice and usually akin to the old saying of planting a tree under whose shade you will never sit. Takes courage in spades mixed with a certain amount of total bonkers madness which is why so many English people choose this life! Hugs XO

Just when I heard dampers I wanted to let you know that dampers are forbidden in France and if you have them installed the insurance won't pay, so don't put them on any active chimneys. Lots of greetings from South West France to Bretagne, really enjoy your videos!
This is what I wonder for all the chateau channels. If these buildings and estates were created by people who had literal armies of staff to maintain and consistently repair and run all of the buildings and cleaning and cooking etc, how do just two people do it?? How is that even manageable? I’m so genuinely curious because as one person just trying to run and repair and maintain a normal sized house, even that burns me out! How do only two people do it?? And be parents and have a life!
Enjoyed your meeting and learned some interesting things from it. Btw, how do your children get to school?
Always eoryh a wstch & a giggle!
Happy New year.

Loved this behind the scenes video! I always enjoy your trips out & about, the grocery stores in France are amazing! Can’t wait to see the greenhouse within your walled garden, what fun you will have!🏆Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed the insight in uour day to day… similar to mine 😆 somedays it three steps forward and two steps backward…stay strong 🤗
Are there cat rescue groups in France who could help you find homes for the kittens? Even outside your area? Or contact cat rescue groups in England? Belgium, Germany, Switzerland.
I can't offer them a home. I live in Australia. I already have 3 cats. 🐈⬛ 🐈 🐈⬛
Love your vlogs and sense of humour.

My wife and I enjoy your channel. You asked for recommendations for Milan. Here’s a link from Michael Portillo. Don’t know if you’re aware of him but he’s a fun watch in that throw back British travel log vibe. https://youtu.be/pB5uvy_0iA4?si=0ci6VITjt3NgkK93
Granny chic 😂
Love your sense of humor! ❤
the same way they move furniture & pianos in Amsterdam, you get furniture up to the turreted rooms by the exterior, using what is called a "hoisting beam"
The Man in Seat 61 (amazing Europe train travel website) just posted that he's booked "the first Paris-Milan Frecciarossa on 1 April after the landslide is cleared," so maybe train travel will work just fine.
In Milan there is the opportunity to climb to the roof of the Duomo. It is an awesome experience that the kids would love and remember forever!
There is a very nice train ride from Milan to Lake Como. Can't remember how long the trip. Try the very nice restaurant next to the church on the lake shore In Milan there is the world's first shopping center. It is a beautiful architectural site. The Last Supper is a mural painting is housed in the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy.
I recommend going to the Centro della Mozzarella near the metro station Lodi Tibb. You can buy Mozarella and Burrata, and also Parmesan in small 1kg pieces 😁
And try some Pistaccio icecream, you will never look back.
The area of Metro station Porta Romana has some more student-related bars and restaurants.
Have fun in Milan, it is really a beautiful city.
Tips on Milan- I traveled solo. The tickets for Davinci's Last Supper are hard to get, especially last minute- but because I was solo I was able to get one a few weeks before. I really enjoyed the Starbucks Reserve, they roast all the beans for Europe. Of course the Duomo- the rooftop tour was my favorite. And lots a great little restaurants tucked among the streets. Hope you have a lovely visit. Can't wait to see the greenhouse!
This channel is just superior to other chateau channels. I loved that close up of Waffle… Lincoln is an incredible knowledgeable person and Amanda is so caring with a wonderful sense of humour. ❤
Don’t you have a local friendly farmer with a fork-lift truck who could move your greenhouse glass for you?
…!!!🐱🐱🐱
I love that you share your shopping experiences, including prices and a foreign country. Please keep doing this. I would actually watch an entire episode about prices and shopping.
Amazing to learn about the phones in rural France. Glad you went off a bit from the meeting agenda.😃
Really enjoying ur channel this mixing up with content is awesome and I enjoyed this video very much. You 2 are great . Success in 2025 with all u undertake this video makes me think all is going to be fun and entertaining in this next year on your channel!!!
Yet again some absolutely wonderful photography! Thank you for that and for the little insight to your life 😊Would be nice to see the children but fully understand 💜
I can't see that tiny printing that pops up on screen.😢
I know that you said that you don't want volunteers, but after that cottage is done and you've got the kitchen to a usable point, maybe you could think about hiring a maintenance man or couple, to help out? If you start out with a short term employment contract, just to see if it would work out, it would give you an easy out, if it doesn't❤!
😂OR see if the girls would consider dating guys in the trades😂
Thank you for the laughs, something that is much needed in the world today!
Wait! When did you hit 50k??? Congratulations!🎉
Can you show your smart tv options… apps and channels
Beautiful drone footage – thank you.
