You forgot a few things regard survival, anything left alive would more than likely have radiation poisoning, and food that was still growing? would have been killed off by no sunlight or dug up, or picked already by other starving people, anyone left alive would be in competition with other humans for food (they may even start killing others to eat people for food) only the strongest will survive in this situation, but in the end the outdoor elements will kill off all as no-one will be able to survive the harsh climate change with no food or clean water (water will be contaminated with radiation).
End of world preppers would be the only survivors, but only until there food ran out or there clean supply if water lasted, after that they are in the same situation as every one else. Even after 12 months, 3 years or even 5 years there is no coming back, it's the end for everyone.
Lets say? Someone survives 3 years, when they come out (and unless they have a stock pile supply of seeds) and even if they did it would more than likely not grow or if it did grow it would be contaminated with radiation after it grew and would kill you anyway, all water would still be contaminated as it would take hundreds if not thousands of years for the earth to return to a habitable planet.
Crazy video and fun to watch but lets hope this never happens because your gaming days would be over as I did not mention that there would more than likely be no electricity.
