Solo se me ocurre que durante ese ataque la mamá o uno de los niños trajera una luz UV pequeña y al ser usada en su cabeza/cara le permite ganar control de sí mismo y así sobrevive hasta el juego actual del 2.
En espera de un DLC que lo incluya.

just imagine if in dying light 3 both Crane and Aiden playable with their volatile abilities and finding a cure to become human again
I know that Kyle Crane wouldn’t be killed by the military since he is a very good trained Agent. He also didn’t kill himself because we all know that’s common sense. We know he’s not captured because who would be looking for him? Who is going to catch him? So lastly, I think he’s still out there just venturing. He’s either the Night Hunter and just looks for prey to feed on, or a sentient volatile by venturing to god knows what. Anyways, Great video! I’m glad Crane is still getting Recognition.
