The action of calling off an attempt to “catch” the booster on its return to Earth due to the issues on Mechazilla has enabled SpaceX to go much further in the future.
One day after the launch, the FAA has given a positive announcement, quote:
“There was no mishap. All flight events for both the Starship vehicle and the Super Heavy booster occurred within the scope of planned and authorized activities.”

This will pave the way for more future launch operations from its Starbase facility in South Texas.
It’s true. At the same time, on Wednesday, the US Federal Agency released a revised draft of its environmental assessment for Starship launches.
Specifically, they will grant SpaceX permission to increase the number of Starship launches in South Texas to 25 per year from the current limit of five.
“The FAA concluded that the proposed modification to the vehicle operator license for Starship/Super Heavy operations conforms to the prior environmental documentation, that the data contained in the 2022 Programmatic Environmental Assessment remains substantially valid, that there are no significant environmental changes, and all pertinent conditions and requirements of the prior approval have been met or will be met in the current action.”

Of course, that doesn’t mean the environmental review is finalized, the federal agency is now accepting feedback and will hold public meetings before it finalizes the assessment.
In fact, SpaceX’s proposal for 25 Starship orbital launches from Texas was released by the FAA in July. By then, the company was in the hot seat with criticisms for harming the environment through its Starship launches. They also hit back at the detractors through a detailed rebuttal as it picks up the pace for its pre-flight tests for Starship’s fifth launch.
This has caused a long delay in processing SpaceX’s application from the FAA. However, with the FAA giving positive signals after Flight 5 and Flight 6, we can clearly see that the situation has become brighter. SpaceX was probably already on a path to complying with federal regulations whereas the FAA has no longer been too strict.

Some people don't realize the importance of this program our future depends on it there's unlimited resources out there for us to obtain particularly one that could help our power shortage referred to as HE3 also we can put up shielding around the earth to help control the temperature the same principle that's been talked about when terraforming Venus and by the end of this century most of our industry could be out there like Jeff basil has talked about a few years back play we can solve our deficit rather easily once we get out there the question is when are we going to start mining

  4. It’s likely that these narcissistic controlling nut jobs in the FAA are worried about their jobs. The new government program doge that Elon will be heading will hopefully get rid of the controlling FAA for spaceflight or restructure

  5. It is clear now that the only goal of the FAA was to delay Starship 5 and just Starship 5. Cause of course, that they didn't wanted SpaceX and its success just days before elections. No other concern, no dolphins, no fishes.

  11. Perhaps those entrenched California officials who are anti-Elon, along with the DEMs, are working to stamp out Elon, AND are working (with pay) for China, so that the latter (China) will eventually dominate space the way they dominate South China Sea.

  14. Musk move to Texas due to massive tax cuts, not because of any Trans laws. Money is his only motivation, not identity politics. Remember, the people of the US pay for those tax cuts and SpaceX is funded by the tax payer.

  17. The Corrupt FAA is afraid of Trump and Musk. I say disolve the FAA and get rid of it and the warehouses full of BS regulations and stupid holds that are Politicaly inspired. They do not have the best interests of the county as a priority.

  18. FAA is regulatory not experts. FAA lost it's mission statement "To promote Aviation" long ago.
    It took months for my brother to register a helicopter , An action that should only take a week.
