What Elon Musk Just Revealed Humiliated NASA and Blue Origin…
Elon Musk has a huge obsession with saving the world.
However, he doesn’t like the idea of a lunar base.
He would go straight to Mars and choose Mars as a stepping stone for the multi-planetary plan, with a clear preference for bypassing the Moon altogether.
His rival, Jeff Bezos, has dismissed it as just a ‘Plan B,’ while others argue that his ambitions clash sharply with NASA’s Artemis program. So, what’s really at stake here?
In a bold move that has left both NASA and Blue Origin reeling, Musk has unveiled his latest plans for Mars colonization.

What Elon Musk Just Revealed Humiliated NASA and Blue Origin…
Elon Musk’s primary objective in founding SpaceX and developing the Starship program was to colonize Mars. He first unveiled his plans for Mars colonization in September 2016, emphasizing its importance for preventing human extinction and enabling humanity to become a multi-planetary species. Musk’s views resonate with those of Robert Zubrin, an American aerospace engineer and author, who believes that Mars represents a new frontier for humanity, similar to the historical exploration of the Americas. Nasa also favors a Mars base, but under Nasa’s Artemis program, it selects the Moon as the stepping stone for that ultimate goal.

However, there is dissent regarding the concept of colonizing Mars. Gerard K. O’Neill, an American physicist and space advocate, along with billionaire Jeff Bezos, advocates for space habitats instead. Inspired by O’Neill’s ideas, Bezos envisions vast space colonies capable of housing a trillion people throughout the solar system. He founded Blue Origin to realize this vision, arguing that humans should live in large space habitats rather than on planetary surfaces like Mars, which he believes cannot support a significant population.

  1. Show that Starship can lift something heavier than a banana, that is reusable and can lift 300 tons to LEO like Musk said 6 yrs ago first. Then argue about Mars. Starship blew up
On the last flight. Desl with yhe first.
Same guy who was going to launch 4 vehicles to Mars last year. Unbelievable.
Mars is colder than Antartica without air. Some genius he is..All BS

  2. What an utterly ridiculous view point. The moon can provide metals materials in space without an Earth or mars sized gravity well. It is ideal providing water and for hydrogen and other gasses. Ignoring the moon is just plain stupid. The side of the moon perpetually facing away from the earth provides a radio frequency dark zone the astronomers of the world have been waiting for. Mars does not provide anything better and comes with a near impossible landing requirement for heavy vehicles and enough of a gravity well to be a major problem for getting enough fuel and oxygen together to get anything off the planet with out extreme difficulty.

  3. Cooperation, not competition, is the new dogma, and those moon IRU, interplanetary colonies with mega space stations where humans could live and thrive, are the future where everyone is accelerating and supporting each other.

  4. So… Let the two billionaires do their thing – and duke it out. Competitive visions are good… it will manifest more progress as they try to solve different problem sets. Who says Musk must support NASA's objectives… he can if they pay provide the ships to get to the moon but clearly is somewhat protective on his technical solutions for creating habitats he probably doesn't want to share with NASA or… doesn't want to be distracted financially forced to adopt NASA's often backward thinking solutions for America's moon base. Elon wants ownership of his base on Mars. Frankly I don't blame him… why partner with a potentially autocratic associate?
