  1. This was brilliant! Introspection of one's self can be a powerful tool that could be utilized to give an honest feedback (to us) and again quality of deeds over quantity. Quality > Quantity. Starting from the bare minimum and then working our way up to higher goals and that is to achieve Jannat ul firdous. Balancing worldly life with the religous and begging Allah for his forgiveness, mercy and for Jannah just like we make duas for other things. Those are my take-aways from this amazing lecture.

  12. MashaAllah tabarakAllah. JazakAllahu khairan, Sheikh. Thank you for the reminders and the new learnings, i am a revert and i already can relate to the feeling of being "left behind"… It is a beautiful experience to be humbled and disciplined by the teachings and sunnah of prophet Muhammad SAWS which keeps us steadfast on the right path to Allah SWT. I admit it is the hardest to keep oneself in check always focused on "what pleases Allah" SWT. Alhamdulillah for the immeasurable mercy and blessings Allah SWT showers us every day. InshaAllah, i want to enroll Islamic studies!

  24. Assalam Alaykum, Omar SuIeiman said that our right is that if we worship Allah he doesn't punish us, and if he does not punish us he rewards us because there's no in between in the hereafter. But, while reading the Qur'an I came across a verse although I can't recall exactly what chapter, in the verse Allah said there will be a certain kind of people that will have equal amount of good and bad deeds and they will beg Allah to send them back to this Dunya so that they can pray two more rak'ahs and they will neither be admitted to Jannah nor Jahannam and concerning what their faith will be Allah knows best.
