What do we know about the Sevastopol strike?

Sky News has been looking into what is known about the condition of the vessels in the dry dock that was attacked in Sevastopol, Crimea.

A satellite image taken shows a warship and submarine in the dry dock. These have been identified by military experts as a Ropucha-class landing ship and a Kilo-class submarine.

Russia’s defence ministry has said two military vessels were damaged in the overnight missile strike on the shipyard and 24 people were wounded.

British Storm Shadow missiles were used in the attack, Sky News understands.

  1. A sophisticated attack the Ukrainians launched drones first to get the Russians to turn on their air defense systems and then they fired HARM missiles eliminate those then the third base was the Storm Shadow's once their defenses were taken out. Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

  2. West have more money

We should just offer russian soldiers (humans beins as we , who have/had a mother and a father aswell) 2/3x what putin gives and most probably 70 % of russian soldiers would swich sides

Im sure most of them will agree, as they just obey for the money they need to feed their families and dont believe in this nosense war their leader is fighting from his warm and couzy palace in Moscow

With the money they should be able to take their families out of russia and never look back

I know its not so easy (and what is easy? btw) , but im confident is money better spent than making 1000 thousand bullets ,for example,995 of them ending in the floor. ANd the other 5 inside trees ,without real impact at all and with need to be replaced

Also they will give us all their equipment/info , so it is not just giving money for free

I guess this have been attempted to some degree already, but probably not enough, and we should try to engineer new approachs in this matter, as it seems to me this approach was not even starting to be exploited yo reach its sheer potential before they seemingly stoped it prematurely

Putler has enough money to pay monthly 200-400k? soldiers in ukraine and all the west combined have not?, come on man !!!

West is also very good at marrketing (for the good and also for the worst ; ig, toxic influencers ,woke nosense, neutral genre and all that BS) , the moment the first russians agree to the offer and after a little of time (and good communication ) the rest of the russians troops check the offer is for real , honest and in good will, not for just a month or two, but at least as long as the wars remains (if not for live as regular nato troops if they want), they will switch sides in bulk , in BULK!!!

Also, most of them are much younguer than putler, so if there is a regime change , after his death, they will be , hopefully able to come back to their original towns.

If done correctly and intelligently , this should be more powerfull weapon than any amount of tanks/missiles/etc

Where is will there is a way

    Slava ukraine!!!

  3. Thank God for the British people and their technology and missiles. But I'm sure they know they're being used very innovatively. In all their technology and future wars, they will highly benefit the In the knowledge they gain. Slavia Ukraine❤

  4. Russia has been hitting Ukraine critical military infrastructure every day with missiles for months now, but not a peep from Sky News. Ukraine occasionally hits an airfield, a bridge or shipyard and Sky News is covering it 24-7. Right…Ukraine is winning…their counteroffensive has been stuck in the mud for over 3 months, they have over 500,000 casualties compared to Russia's 65,000, and they are losing NATO military equipment by the bucketload. With that kind of winning they'll be marching on Moscow any day.

  5. any person who thinks that Sevastopol is in danger is living in the covid universe Delusional, 3 missiles out of10 hitting is minimal damage, Russia has hit all the black sea Ukrainian ports with 30+ missiles and they are still not completely damaged, Sevastopol port is 20 times bigger so look at the facts, Ukraine would need a 1000 missiles as only 30% get through, uk has no more to give, France has 120 and Germany only has 200 so I laugh at the idea that people think this Will ever happen, because of Blinken openly saying that America Will re arm Ukraine in the so called cease fire means Russia Will need to take all of Ukraine which they Will next spring as Europe Will collapse after this winter that is just facts so please stop being Delusional

  6. As a sailor, Russia losing the only large dry docks available in the Black Sea it a huge defeat that will play out for a long time to come.
I remember the Russian dry dock that sunk. That’s Russian ingenuity at its finest.

  7. Interesting info from the George Galloway feed.

‘U.S. Doubles Uranium Imports from Russia

Nearly half of the world's enriched uranium is produced in Russia, and U.S. efforts to reduce its reliance on imports from the country have so far
failed. The U.S. bought 416 tons in the first half of the year, more than double the amount for the same period in 2022. This number is also the highest level since 2005.

Calculations show the U.S. paid $696.5 million for uranium deliveries from Russia, marking
    the highest value since 2002’

  8. All these terrorist attacks are financed and controlled by NATO. Ukraine cannot support people. No technologies, no weapons and no enough personnel. This is why just the Polish-NATO army lost at Ukraine more than 10,000 soldiers.
Everybody knows Russia can't be beaten. All Western countries do business with Russia. They depend on Russia. It is worthed because those who die are eastern Slavic people.
