Too bad they didn’t have any Kabanosy dried sausage (Polish). Jaegerwurst is also very good (German hunter sausage).
Spratts are the best sardines.the smoked ones are my favorites. But the ones in tomato sauce are nice 2
Fortunate to have a grocery in north side of Columbus Ohio. Can't go very long without my sprats, salo, rye breads and everything else. The packaged freeze dried starter pack for solyanka saves me lots of prep time.
You bought things from an unmarked van? You are a brave man, Sergei.
Black sturgeon caviar isn't too bad on toast with a bit of cream cheese, never had salmon caviar.
THIS VIDEO MADE ME REALLY HUNGRY FOR SOME FOODS I HAVEN'T EVER TRIED BEFORE LOL. IT'S COLD AND RAINING IN MY AREA BUT I'M GONNA HIT THE GROCERY STORE 🙂
Wow, that is too bad that black currant is not commonly available in America.. in Finland it is one of the staple garden berries (and grows wild too).. That jam jar had Hebrew on it, wonder if it was imported from Israel..
I guess old habits die hard.
Back during soviet times People used to buy western goods from the back of vans.
and in 20+ years later Western people now buy Russian/Soviet foods from the back of vans!
Check out net cost the next time you go to New Jersey!
I found this Georgian store in Southern Ohio I had to do a double take while walking past the store front because of the Russian and Georgian writing needless to say I had to investigate and buy me a Georgian lemonade creme soda
Купил тут в германии недавно гречку в русском магазине и прихуел слегка. 6 евро за 900 грамм. Год назад меньше 3 евро была.
Be careful about buying Russian products Sergei. I know you miss these products but surely it's not the right time even in some nominal way? Impossible now to find Russian products here in Poland but of course plenty of Ukrainian and local versions.
I like how they still turn everything into propaganda 🙂 Interesting how that eagle sits on the EU and USA flags and has the Ukrainian trident on top on the baloni wrap.
You know where a man can get those "Vetom" or "Betom" probiotics at? Their komarov powders are excellent with helping me with my belly problems nothing has worked as good. Id def try that bologna, with mayo and bread.
That thing on your pickled mushrooms is what we would call a "wax seal"
Dude dont expired butter lol. Asking to get very sick.
Mr. Ushanka I don't know what your cooking skills are but I would like to see you make original Soviet dishes.
The hunter beef sticks look good.
There was a Ukrainian or Russian chocolate bar that was similar to a British Aero bar that I really liked. I wish I could find those for sale online.
what did they NOT make in Tula ?? LOL my samovar was built there…..
The minute I was the othonika kolbasa, before you said what it was, I thought 'landjaeger', which means 'land hunter' and is basically the same.

looks like a la salle 328 or some kind of douzenberg. douzenbergs were the lambo's of the 1920s (ground speed reccord for awhile) and thats where the sayings "shes a duzzy" or "mile a minute" come from. tbh all the cars kind of looked the same back then and I might be wrong on the type of car since they were all body on frame one at a time built pieces of art that had a lot of variability between models. a lot of small time producers back then since ford was just kind of getting started. cars will never look that extra ever again lol
