This was a scary story Kentucky Melody. I had goosebumps all over. WOW! I believe there are many things in this world that man has not discovered. Yes, this Jersey Devil could be true. I know that Bigfoot was not recognized until someone caught him on film in the 50s. There is also a road in New Jersey that is haunted. Instead of a hearse that follows cars on our Sleepy Hollow Rod, a truck follows cards on this highway. Regrettably, I cannot remember the route number. Thank you for a great story.
I believe alot of unexplainable, spooky creatures exist! A friend and I once spotted what looked to us like a pterodactyl flying over our town one night back in 1986. We were so scared that we called Selfridge Air Force Base to report what we saw, and after going over the story 3 times with the guy on the phone, he put us on hold to go get his superior! While on hold, my friend and I got worried they might send the guys in white suits to come get us and deem us crazy so we hanged up, but as crazy as it sounds, I swear that's what we saw!

Yes, I saw it up close when I was a little boy…. it was looking at me through my bedroom window on a second floor window, the eyes were like red like fireballs, it had a long skinny tongue and just kept staring at me, that was in camden nj between 1956-1960

In Bavaria is almost the same creature called the " Habergeiß or Habergoiß " which takes all the naughty Kids with him.
If a bad person died in a house it will become a Habergoiß and only if a newly or freshly died corpse pass the entrance with the coffin its free.
