  1. My son trained and showed Tennessee Walking Horses!
Highest place he received at Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration in Shelbyville Tennessee was 4th.
It's a completely different way of life!

  2. Can the bus tow a horse trailer…perhaps to a junior rodeo? In any case, best of good health and fortune in all that you do. Thanks for sharing. 🐎🐎🐎🚌

  4. Years ago I raised and trained cutting horses, I spent more time on the road than I did at home. Just wondering if your using barbwire for the fence perimeter, I would suggest using high-tin wire so if a horse got spooked it could save a lot of vet bills. (just my thoughts). Good luck and I'll be watching.

  5. I had to dosome welding on a flatbed for a one ton trunk. The bed was painted and no o e told me was galvanized. I won't ever forget that lesson. You might need to be looking for some hay for Shodow now because there was a big shortage last year. Have fun and stay safe!

  6. Anybody who has not ever trimmed hooves and put shoes on a horse does not know what back breaking work a Farrier does for his money. Some of those horses aren't very friendly either. LOL

  7. Speaking of a Mississippi accent, try "lion cut", as "Took the cat to the vet for a lion cut." Heard that from months from my Mississippi born and raised veterinarian, and I was hearing "line cut" and wasn't understanding why it was a "line" cut.

  8. Funny fencing story i grew up doing fencing with my grandpa and his brothers many miles of fence also worked at the local building supply was in there one day and the owner asked if i might be interested in helping one of his new customers who was having problems with a corral he was trying to put up.This guy had lived his whole life in a major city up north white collar job then retired moved down here to follow his dream of being a farmer / rancher. He was a big fan of westerns so he bought a couple of horses and built a barn and a corral with barb wire next day the wire was basicly sagging to the ground went out and looked and he had built a circle corral out of barb wire i told him you cant build a circle out of barb wire he said in the westerns they had circle corrals i said yes wood corrals out of boards barb wire has to be stretched so you have to have corners he said oh didnt think about that : )
