I like to think Wario’s origin story in the next Mario movie will be similar to the one here. Except, altered to make more sense. Maybe they’ll even reveal that Wario was a nick name Mario or the other kids called him as a way to tease him.
If he is to appear in the next film I would make Tatanga the main villain and reveal that he hired Wario and Waluigi as his henchmen.
It is so hilarious but out of nowhere to hear Wario or even Luigi saying "Oh my God." Sonic Heroes is another game that does that when in one of the last levels playing as Team Rose, Amy says the same thing. Anyone remember that? 😆
