  1. Malignant Blighthauler moves 10” and can take three in a squad. A winged DG daemon Prince moves 10” and in Poxmongers prince can take a relic to give Blighthaulers a 4++. So they can protect him, he protects them and they have a lot of shooting- for DG.

  2. Gotta disagree with a fair whack here fellas. Biologous should be tournament staple. Spawn arent that good anymore in a non stranglehold world. But im glad you dropped fbs from tournament staple.

  3. I mostly agree with Jack views on this one. A few things I might change: tallyman I think should be tournament staple, I would put the biologus purifier at the bottom of strong choice, and drop the rhino to perfectly balance at most (the only list I would include a rhino it's if I ever include Morty for a full pressure list). Great job on this one, and btw Nick, PBC with entropy cannons are strong for their durability/dmg/point ratio.

  4. Thoughts on putting a Hvy Aux Chaos Knight in a DeathGuard army? For a bit of damage sponge, good damage but also "fast" moving presence for board control? I ask due to the "new meta" for Custodes bringing lil' knights Helverins. (I see DG as almost Custode equivalent for durability reasons)

  5. I feel like the chaos lord is very useful.. as a way to take the cheapest possible HQ alongside a pair of Plaguecasters.

Death guard has such strong troops and elites, I feel we can sometimes skimp on the buff combat HQ characters and utilize those points elsewhere in your list.

Plus, he’s the cheapest way to set up a Contemptor with reroll 1s to hit.

Oddly, despite his lack of Terminator armor, he DOES have a 4++ invulnerable save as well. In cover, his 3+ is basically a 1+ with AOC so if you are GOING to have a backfield blob, he’s the cheapest backfield blob buffer.

  6. How do you guys feel about the contemptor dread? Are they viable now that cps are more precious? I see them to be more reliable than the pbc at long range, but not as tough. So wondered what you guys thought of them.?
