JD Vance has provided a moving speech at the Republican National Convention as he reflected on his upbringing, life, and recent selection to be Donald Trump’s running mate for the 2024 election.
Mr Vance received a loud ovation as he discussed some of the tribulations he has overcome in his life so far.
He finished his address by discussing the trust Donald Trump has placed in him.
“Mr President, I will never take for granted the trust you have put in me and what an honour it is to help achieve the extraordinary vision you have for this country,” Mr Vance said.
