The Scenic Rim is voted top region in 2022 by the Lonely Planet – so we have decided to spend some time here to show you around. Beautiful mountains, spectacular views and stunning waterfalls.. you can’t miss this!

This week, Tim surprises me with a few things that I’ve wanted to do for a while – and we show you that you can be extra adventurous in the scenic rim!

We are Vanlife.

Introducing our you tube Channel, ‘The Sand Van’
We are an Aussie/English couple living in the beautiful Gold Coast of Australia. Our dream is to live full time in our van and see Australia, however at the moment we are working full time and travelling as much as we can on weekends and any time off we can book!

Travel along with us and experience our adventures as we live vanlife to the fullest. Everybody does van life differently, whether is in a converted bus, RV, campervan or just camping in a car.
We will help navigate the highs and lows of vanlife showing you campsites, free camps, wild camps and boondocking.

As we travel we will share our experiences with van life and take you hiking, kayaking, bushwalking and even magnet fishing.
We will show you handy tips and trips for vanlife, with general maintenance, everyday chores, repairs and upgrades to our Mercedes sprinter van and our Hiace Campervan
Also, we’ll share the beautiful countryside of Australia via our camera lenses and drone footage.

So, please join us and our little dog Pablo as we take on the adventure that is van life in “The Sand Van”.

Pepper: 1982 Toyota HiAce Pop top. Recently professionally renovated with full work area, full kitchen and fixed double bed.
Vinnie: 2004 Mercedes Sprinter CDI LWB. Self-built by previous owner. Full ensuite fixed bed – full kitchen.
Honda Dio 110cc 2021- complete with POW pet box
Pablo: 2019 Chihuahua – Tan in colour.

    Another video with great cinematography, great editing, great content, great people and your choices of music were top tier. Y'all's videos just get better and better.

  35. I almost pee'd my pants laughing at the skydiving portion! Happy 35th Birthday, Sandy!😉 I hope you had a wonderful day on your day! You all always give us some beautiful views and shots and we are here for it! I'm back from vacation so I am glad to be able to have time to watch the videos of my friends! (I'm exhausted from Vegas tho.)
