It’s a shame what they did to mage. This is the patch that will lead me to quitting the game for sure unfortunately.

This makes me kinda sad. I loved the ice gauntlet/fire staff combo and have used it the whole time i've played, now I'm torn between sticking with it or changing weapons completely.
Fire and Ice m feels absolutely horrible now. They were in such a good spot I can’t believe New World has done this.

Lol, yeah this is why it was nerfed. Not saying your not a skilled player but the way ice storm melts people in war is kinda crazy. Now it's much more balanced. Give it a try after the nerf its not as bad as people say.

new build for mage : heavy armor atribute = int/ const, weapon void gauntlet(left side build), destroy all melee dps after ur use root dropp all ur buff in the ground and enjoy, secundary weapon i like to use rapier because is secondary dmg is int and is a good defense against hammer and great axe, yeah the nw force all mages to play melee right now.
