Western leaders ‘can’t stomach’ Hamas as ‘responsible for the suffering’: Caroline Marcus

Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus says Anthony Albanese is “talking out of both sides of his mouth” as she slammed Israel’s supposed Western allies who “can’t really stomach” the fight against Hamas.

Ms Marcus’ comments come after Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, along with the Canadian and New Zealand Prime Ministers, all released a joint statement calling for a ceasefire.

“Yet he is saying Hamas can’t be allowed to govern over them – how is that going to happen?” she asked Sky News contributor Gemma Tognini.

“Unless leaders like Anthony Albanese can make clear in their statements, which they haven’t, that Hamas is responsible for the suffering of its people by using them as human shields.

“Until it can make that clear, then really, it is showing it is awfully one-sided on this issue.”

  1. Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.

  2. By all means take the fight to Hamas, given the ability of the intelligence services, you would have thought that removal of the leadership, could be carried out without the death, and destruction of the millions that live in Palestine, or is there some other agenda???

  3. Israel has murdered more than 10,000 babies and more than 8,000 women. they all had dreams and names. Stop spreading lies and just admit that Israel has been found on the bodies of innocent palestinians since 1948.

  4. Smart people will acheive their goals. Intellegent people will understand the needs of others by educating themselves on different and opposing opinions and achieve the goals they can using this knowledge.
The government is full of smart people, we need more intelligence.

  5. I'am absolutely ashamed of my Government in NZ FOR VOTING this way. Also Auss, & Canadian Governments. First they need to read Hamas Son's BOOK. THEN THEY ALSO NEED TO READ ISRAELIS HISTORY. HOW DARE THEY. I SAY TO THEM, GROW UP. NZ

  6. Barry Humphries leaves behind a legacy of nuggets of comedic gold. His commemoration by Caroline's own testament was a roaring tribute. Well deserved. Did Dame Edna leave behind a bequest to her dear friend Mavis. Think that was her name. Nice to see the iconic Sydney opera House restored to its former glory by this memorial after some unseemly events.

This is reported in the Guardian.
Isn't it fair to say this government denounces violence no matter who is causing it?
