Mykhailo Podolyak, the advisor President of Ukraine, has responded to the call by the Chinese government’s special representative for a ceasefire in Ukraine. Earlier, it was reported that the Chinese envoy urged his European counterparts to push for a ceasefire in Ukraine by “recognising the occupied Ukrainian territories as Russia’s”. Responding to this, Zelensky’s aide said that any “compromise scenario” is not acceptable to Kyiv.
